I loved driving these. I full In miss them. Since getting out the farming game I wish I could just on occasion be back in this very machine. Out carting for silage, maize or even much spreading. Had many great long days in them. Don’t think I I ever got bored in one or dealt tired in one even after 15/16 hour days.

I used to drive the John Deeres. 6920s, 7530, 6930, but my favourite was the 7810. What a manly tractor that was, and what a soundtrack! I drive new Holland's now, which very sound tractors but very boring to drive I'll be honest. Us drivers need a bit of engine roar to make the day go by but manufacturers have taken the pleasure away from us with massive silencers and emissions crap.

Genuinely worth buying one of these machines if you can at the moment. As said, the price is only rising and they are certainly a classic. A set of wider tires and PowrQuad Plus gearbox (semi-automatic mode and clutch button) would make it a perfect machine. They really are an all rounder from ploughing to loader work, they can do the lot.

Lovely machine and video! Just to say, having spent a lot of time on road bikes, I can totally see how they look rude, but it's not necessarily that they're refusing to acknowledge you. It's just that, when you pass a tractor, first off it's a bit intimidating (looks so easy to end up under the wheels), secondly you're moving on to the bumpiest bit of the road (that guy in the white and blue is crossing a border between two road surfaces at a slight angle - so easy for your tyre to get snagged on the boundary and throw you off!!!). Added to that, you're trying to slow down, then get into gear (using the shifters in the brake levers). You can see the one in green flick their brake lever across as they approach you - that's them trying to keep in a gear they can turn. All in all, it's not always possible to put your hand up! The guy in black and red doesn't seem to have an excuse though...

With every new generation of tractor, there are old farmers grousing about how they'll never last, how there's too much modern junk on them, how they'll all be in the scrapyard in 20 years while their (insert favorite tractor here) is still going strong... They said your T-Dub would be in the junkyard in 20 years. Well, here it is now over 30 years later... 20 years from now the current tractors will be the new classics and ones like this one will be the standard by which the next generation of tractors will be compared when old farmers grouse about new tractors. The real question is, what will the old farmers of that future time have to complain about?

@@SuperSparkie123 Sorry, not John Deere fan. Used to work as a salesman for a Claas dealer and we found the weakest part if the Claas tractor was the Deere engine which seemed to cause no end of problems. Cylinder head gaskets, VGTs and EGR valves just for starters. One of my customers had to replace his Arion 520 engine at 2000 hrs when it swallowed the turbo! 14k to repair, he replaced it with a New Holland within 6 months. Thankfully I believe Claas have mostly replaced the Deere power plant with the Cummins Iveco and they now have a better tractor. So sorry, as I said not a fan.
