Elvin Bishop is great but John Lee Hooker and Willie Dixon are legends, there would be no Elvin Bishop without them. There would be no british blues explosion without the american blues players. Keep them in mind !

That was John Hammond smoking his blues harp. There was some serious blues royalty on the stage. Besides John Lee Hooker, there was Elvin Bishop, Albert Collins, and Willie Dixon up on the stage; they joined George Thorogood, Jeff Simon, Billy Blough, and Hank Carter. All of them blew the roof off the building. They were awesome.

All our Rock and Metal would never have come to life without those real heroes like Dixon, Hooker, Collins and of course B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters. It was them who invented Hard Rock. And George and his Destroyers are hard to beat. Hard workers, great music. It's a sheer joy to watch them all playing the kind of music that will never fade.

No matter how many times I watch this or any like it I can't sit still to it. I love such a love affair with the blues. Then when you just put legends like this together. It could be what we just seeing in this video or it could be anybody from junior to rl on down-the-line. Would have love to have seen one or any of so many different shows whether they were by themselves or with other people. There is no matching anything talking about the Blues and the players. A white boy from the sticks always said. I knew Chuck Berry before I knew Elvis.

... how bout the #1 fan in the front row with the yellow trucker hat, and towel around his neck? Very classy, and smart move by Mr. Thorogood there. Pretty neat to see him step off of the stage, and enjoy the legendary show amongst the fans, after all he is, and always has been a huge fan of all of those guys, and it's absolutely evident in his music. Love me some George Thorogood, he's one of a very few modern day players that made the classic blues their own. Truly awesome video, thanks for sharing👍😎

My Dad was drinking buddies with George Thorogood back in the mid to late 70s, and has quite a few tales to share, not always glamorous, decorative, or legal... but quite interesting to say the least.
