Great Vid Great Trail! It looked as though you were faster on that 450FX. Is that rider or did the 450FX just handled that trail type better?

I think the 450FX requires less "skill". It's stable and never runs out of power. That said, it's a hog (both on enduro-y stuff and in tight stuff). I liked my YZ250 for those things, but it's nice to basically have infinite power. I generally think I'd be happier on a YZ250FX if I weren't as heavy (200lbs with 13 years of weight training under my belt), so if you don't have a similar build, you may be happier on the 250fx. The 450 has too much power to utilize effectively in the technical stuff and trees.

Nice trail. You managed wrangling that 450 quite well. They can be exhausting in this type of riding.

Appreciate it! Yeah, it's a lot of bike, but been riding a long time and I'm a bigger guy, so it suits me. Do think a 350 would be perfect, but I can't bring myself to buy anything other than a Yamaha

@@TheHowdyBoys Good for you! As long as you are fit and in shape, riding that beast is manageable. I have a Suzuki 450. Have been riding it in the woods for four seasons, now. I'm thinking of getting a 250x.

It literally did this until the battery died. Turned out to be a faulty fuel pump!
