What a good game. GA defense especially their front 4 was sublime and stepped up to create fumbles, blocked passes and sacks. Carson beck made throws that were unbelievable, parting defenses while being hit in backfield. Special teams did a great job too. Without these factors on the road, GA loses that game. Wildcats should be proud too, they made good plays in the air and in the ground, first downs, and their front line was in Becks face all night. Their kicker is badass. The second Bobo feels mildly uncomfortable. Here is his play book: Run left Run right Draw (if it's 4 or less yards on 3rd) Flat pass to the same side the first down run was to (if it's 4+ yards on 3rd) Punt. Been that way for years, especially our Bama losses under CMR. Last year, Bobo just pissed down his leg playing bama and panicked going back to the classic 3rd and Bobo. UGA talant can keep it competitive generally, or like last year have enough super stars they keep his flaws hidden.

He knew what to expect and how the defense reacts to certain offensive formations. 2. The starting MLB for Kentucky started for Georgia and practiced against the Georgia offense for the past few seasons. He knew offensive formations and playcalls. That's the two most important positions on both sides of the ball. Kentucky played a great game and those two are big reasons why.

Here’s the real deal folks: Georgia is gonna be fine. They do this every year. Two years ago, they barely escaped Missouri in their first SEC road game. Last year, they barely escaped Auburn in their first SEC road game. This year is the same thing. As for Kentucky, well they’re gonna be thinking about the fact that they decided to punt the ball with three minutes left all week
@tjadams10893 ай бұрын
They don’t play in the sec east anymore they can’t just cruise to the sec championship game so why even mention 2 years ago. They have 4 cfp teams on their schedule this year plus a potential sec championship game vs the best or second best team in the conference.

Facts. Once UGA gets their groove with all this talent and bobo starts opening up the playbook more as the season goes on, they’ll be a scary team. Our RB group alone is scary, we just have young guys that have to find that chemistry. UGA defense looks stellar

We barely used Nate Frazier, used Branson Robinson once, Arian Smith was almost invisible / Humphrey did not catch a pass. Neither did Delp or Luckie....no deep throws...the D was missing tackles and Kentucky ran all over our defense...they were dragging tacklers an extra 3 - 4 yards per run. Their D just out muscled our O line. I think Kirby was playing with his food tonight and it almost cost him a loss. Worst game they have played in a LONG time. I think the wear and tear of 42 straight regular season wins is getting to them - at some point, they will crash and burn. Thank goodness they have an off week to rest and hopefully get healthy. Brock looked like a man possessed. Beck looked like he was smoking weed before the game. Or maybe he got laid before the game. Either way, he was off in a big way.

The SEC is such an incredibly dominant conference the rest of the country underestimates teams like Kentucky, Vanderbilt and South Carolina because of their records at the end of each season. They'd all do far better in literally any other conference. The south east is playing a whole different game than the rest of the nation.
@wildmouse58883 ай бұрын
As a Kentucky fan, I often wonder how they would do in the ACC. Of course, there is NO way they will ever give up that SEC money to find out.

Georgia had two grind workouts this week preparatory to the Bama game so they'd have time for rest and recovery before going to Alabama. They were tired and sore and played slovenly against Kentucky for that reason. They took Kentucky for granted as a "weak team to play as we recover from our tough workouts". It almost cost them.
@Kartkid0243 ай бұрын
I'll be honest. Considering being on the road and with a one sided officiating crew, I think a lot of teams would have let that slip away. Impressive win by Georgia there.

I’ll say it again, everyone is overlooking the Georgia vs Alabama game. what if Alabama wins? then what does that make Georgia vs Texas? everyone saying that’s GOTY right? but Georgia struggling with a team like Kentucky is what Texas and Oklahoma fans will experience and have the same questions just like Georgia fans, how is this possible? it’s just part of the SEC grind. unless you play Florida, Mississippi State, or Arkansas, you WILL experience this.
