My Mom took me to see Dusty and The Road Warriors over 20 times here in Philthy till she passed 11/30/89. By then Dusty was gone my Dad took me Drc 89 I saw the Warriors one last time....just wasn't the same, was not his thing, but loved him for it. I got to see shit when it was really something 85-88 mostly. I was lucky....

Mr. Wrestling 2's promo is reminiscent of Nick Bockwinkel. As I was watching, I was thinking: "Why is that cadence and delivery so familiar?" Never noticed until just now. . .

If wrestling was still like this id still watch it, the new stuff is just unwatchable for me. Growing up i was obsessed with wrestling, I remember watching Georgia Championship Wrestling on TV at my grandparents house. I lived in Atlanta for a couple year's as a kid and sat on the floor 3 rows back from ringside for Starcade 89 future shock at the Omni. As an 8 year old kid it was almost surreal.

Cool to see Blassie outside the WWF. It's too bad little footage exists of his prime years in California.

Terry Gordy was sooooo great. The agility he had for that size....if there were 2 guys that should have held Flair's belt..... regardless the leuit was Bam Bam and baby face Barry Whindham. Making him a 🐴 KILLED his career, held him back. Ronnie Garvin....dude with an illegal specialty move.....nah, that was Bullsh.

Gordon was the absolute best....he gave wrestling and the best ever magazine PWI ....a respectable name.....and Lance be a close #2. Kind of like Peter Jennings and Walter Cronkite appeal and importance. WWF always was corny except when Gorilla was on the mic with Jesse. These clowns the past 30 years. Jim Ross was great until he believed his own ego.
