Georgia Defense racked up some yards also just saying. I think the Texas game is going to get ugly a wake up call for Georgia. Not a Texas fan but Georgia defense is suspect right now. Texas is to good all around the only way Georgia wins is if Ewers has his worst game don’t see that happening. Ewers thrives in big games just facts. If arch would have played vs Georgia then Georgia would win but he’s not playing. I’m not hating on Georgia I just think Texas is much better team right now. If Alabama can beat Georgia then Texas definitely can beat Georgia.

I think Smart is frustrated with the Defense. The 'gifts' he's referring to are penalties and flat-out misses on the D. Some of those long balls where we got beat makes me crazy, our guys need to look back and see where the ball is! We gotta be better against the upcoming opponets, or we are going to get torched by their offenses.

We haven't been able to defend the pass for a few years now. SEC Title game vs LSU even there backup throws all over us for example. Many many teams have thrown all over uga. It sucks and it's been a problem for years now.

Fans be like 'we won'.. but did we? It was a W in spite of all of our shortcomings AND the fact we're playing one of the worst teams in the conference (please, no offense to MSU). We let a rookie QB make us look like chumps -- I'm sure he gained a lot of confidence after playing UGA. I'm concerned.. Texas is going to hand us our parts on a platter on Saturday unless some miracle happens between now and Friday PM. Kirby needs to hammer the new DC... this whole thing is inexcusable. Kills me to say it, but that's the truth.

First time I’ve heard Smart making an excuse in “gifting them 14 points “. The D was just bad and Becks numbers were good because of the bad team we played. Beck was inconsistent at best.

I admit, that is close to my take as well. The D needs to get better, quick. Our road games are going to be horrific unless we pull this together. As far as Beck, he's got to be more accurate because the turnovers WILL get you roasted when playing better teams... such as all of our upcoming road games.

Dawgs should remember that Bama game going into next week. This team should still be undefeated. Getting off to a slow start on offense or having the defense give up big plays will get them in trouble. They go out and play their best game of the year, they win. Bobo has been an assistant OC, the head OC, and a Head Coach. He is on his 2nd trip to GA as assistant OC and head OC. We are so predictable on offense. He can't keep a job. How can he still have a job at GA? Playing for GA in the mid 90's should not justify keeping him.

This Georgia team is not making the 12 team playoffs. Reasons: poor pass defense and no real running game. This Georgia team should be happy not to play their normal rivals like South Carolina, Vandy and Mizzu! Any of them could beat this team. Expect losses to Texas, Ol Miss and Tennessee. The biggest loss will be in Recruiting. You can't contend for a National Championship year after year, but we still have the best coach in football and an excellent quarterback as well.
