At minimum i saw 3 or 4 plays where dj tried to go down field and the coverage was too much so he threw it away. Gt really did outplay them. You take away that interference call on an uncatchable ball that allowed fsu to score that second td and it may have been a different game. Also, Gt didnt even play their best game. they played like it was the first game too. Fsu isnt that great and Gt is better than we all thought.

I spoke with CBS cry baby Danny kannel and he's had a call with Florida State athletic director and they've filed lawsuits against Ireland, the weather, the airline company for causing jetlag ,and Kirk Herbstriet because the their feelings are still hurt. Don't forget SEC bias. We heard all off season about last year, the lawsuits filed and the school constantly harping on last season. Maybe y'all should have been getting better for this season instead.

UGA beat Tech in the 4th quarter last year in a tight game, missing of course Bowers and McConkey. It was a hard earned win for the Dawgs but Tech stayed with and played with Georgia. Knowing that i picked Tech to win this one and walked away after halftime just to make it back with 1:24 left on the clock when Haynes King muffed a handoff and Tech was put out of field goal position. Next play? Tech makes back all the yards they lost then kicked a narrow field goal to win. Damn. Brent Key during postgame interview .....i was just laughing at him ignoring the questions that gal was asking so he could smile and hug his players instead. 'RUN THE BALL'. True coach from Georgia he is. But--GO DAWGS. Congrats.

So much talk about FSU and not enough about how GT was the more physical team. It's been a while since we've been able to say that, but FSU needed some 4th down conversions, some timely penalties and a trick 2pt conversion to even be in the game at the end. That being said, it's only the first game and I think FSU will get it together and make a good run. But this game was no fluke win for GT. After the first FSU drive, GT controlled the LOS, pretty much the rest of the game. I'm curious to see how well GT handles success, though. In the past, they've struggled after big wins like this.
