I wonder if this guy likes dexter... Sounds great!
@vladimirlopez78403 жыл бұрын
Pretty safe to assume Dexter is a massive inspiration to him. You can hear a lot of Dexter in his phrasing and articulation. I can also hear him sticking bits of other songs in there just like Dexter did

Nice job with this piece. Are you playing on a Jodi Jazz CHI 7* piece? Looks and sounds like it. Have you tried the Jodi Jazz Giant 8* ? Not too much more to push on a littler softer reed and it can get good lushness also.
@kpoudavoff3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. It’s a 1949 Dukoff Hollywood 6*. I play metal pieces only and am curious about CHI model, hope to try it one day.

@@kpoudavoff You’ll enjoy it, or their New York model also with its darker quality. Still, what you have is working great.

@@kpoudavoff It's great but judging by the pieces you've played so far, I think you'd find it a little bright for your taste. I think you'll really like the falcon woodwinds DR.

What make/model tenor sax is Kirill playing? Mouthpiece? The octave key ring resembles a Conn..

@@kpoudavoff thank you! Kirill, I think you're tremendous! I'm sure you probably get that a lot, but you deserve it! I have recently purchased a 1962 Conn 16M, and she's been restored... Could I send you a photo? -Bill Hicks
