This is the most confident I’ve ever been entering a Florida game, including 2017 and last season. The chasm between the 2 programs hasn’t been this big since the 90s, which Kirby is currently reversing. UGA is in our golden era while Florida is experiencing life that they’re accustomed to during every era of their football program other than Spurrier or Meyer. Beware, thise teams vs SEC play are a lot closer than Lou admit. They still rank higher in individual SEC leaders in rushing and receiving. The two schools have about the same number of passing TD's on the season vs the SEC and UF has seen way harder foe. Could be 41-17 but I would predict that. Ten points I'd go with. They will be the best team you played so far.

@@CharlieD.706 Not when UGA played them. They got a rebuild team in game one of the season, game one of a new HC. There is a massive difference in playing Oregon way back than and playing them now. If UGA looked impressive at all on offense since than, UGA fans wouldn't be talking about Oregon now. Plus they are a pac12 team. There's a reason it's hard for pac 12 teams to get into the playoffs. A very much improved team for sure but would lose to the top 5 SEC teams.

Twenty-nine total yards passing against Auburn whose simply atrocious is concerning. 127 rushing yards against Samford was concerning. Mizzou, Kent State, lack of TD passes this season, all concerns. No wide receiver for UGA ranked in the top 17 is another bad sign vs the SEC. UF ranks 10th in individual rushers vs the SEC. UGA 14th. Every win and every upset starts with stats that reveal how those turnouts happen. If UF had UGA's schedule, they could be undefeated also and this is a whole different score prediction.

@@gwhite7136 yet Georgia is averaging 520 yards per game, and rushed for for right at 300 yards versus auburn and had 500 yards of total offense. Not sure where you’re getting the “25 yards passing” or whatever versus auburn….Stetson threw for 208, and Stetson hurt his throwing shoulder in the Missouri game so they ran all over auburn. Samford coach gave Kirby his first job and AD got hurt in the game…it was obvious Georgia was throwing out different receivers, runners, and offense by the fact that Stetson threw the ball to 12 different receivers in the game, and Stetson had 300 yards of passing and 125 yards rushing…Kirby and company were just playing around and didn’t want to embarrass the coach that gave him his first shot. AD Mitchell has been out since that game and that’s their best wr, Arian smith their deep threat got hurt in the summer. Had 3 turnovers against Kent state and still beat them by 3 scores. Missouri has a top 25 defense and Georgia spotted them two scores and great field position all night and they got the job done at Missouri…..no those games are nothing to brag about but the point is to win games and that’s what they’ve done…ugly or not. Rest of the games this season have been absolute dominations start to finish….team lost 15 players to the draft including 5 first rounders, lost offensive line coach and trying to figure out the offense line and lost their DC….there’s going to be growing pains. Problem with Georgia has been red zone execution and play calling….that’s KILLING this team Didn’t Florida struggle and should’ve lost to south Florida if it wasn’t for a penalty and missed field goal???

TN is still averaging more yards than UGA per game against much harder foe. You average 10 points less per game than TN with that schedule. 300 rushing for Aubun, looked more like late game bully ball wearing at team down that has no offense and is a bad team. You only had 29 yards of passing in the first half against Auburn. HORRIBLE RED FLAG! Last year's team actually came out and produced in the first quarter of games. You only start producing pulling away stats in the second half. Twenty-nine total passing yards against Auburn in the first half. Look it up. I watched the game also and it was a point of interest for this game. Even 300 passing against Samford is bad. If you were trying to work on downfield passing game, it was a failure because you failed to produce TD's this way. Mizzou had a top 25 defense based on lower yardage on them. Plus, at the time you were the only good team they played. They had yet to play the harder teams in the SEC. Everyone looks great until we play some good teams. UGA's D in spite of however good you think it was, didn't stop teams from scoring and winning. SC could beat them tonight. Mizzou D bragging hasn't aged well. Growing pains? Production pains. Your a team that only brought back 59% from a year ago. The drop off is real. This does not mean your a bad team, but your not elite imo. Not when bad teams are scoring on you and scaring the daylights out of you. 7 passing TD's on the season and you have no one ranked in the top ten in individual rankings in rushing or receiving. Against that schedule, a weak schedule up to this point. That is the downside to having a weak schedule. You don't improve as much as other teams who have had a much harder schedule. But SB is never going to the NFL and does not have those skill. So why not finally modernize the offense at UGA. Hepuel did in under two years what Kirby couldn't do with elite players in 5 or 6. Beat Bama. Hey, maybe today UGA scores like TN out there against UF but stats and gut tell me this won't be the case. Blow teams out early on or at least impress in the first half without having to rely on the ground games to wear out teams late. Cause you can't win against the better teams this way.

@@gwhite7136 the only “stat” that matters is wins and losses….doesn’t matter when the yardage or scoring happen, the point is it happened, and it’s the job of opposing teams to stop it. Tennessee is 1-15 versus Bama, Heupel still does not have a great defense, and yeah he beat Bama AT HOME, with them committing the most penalties ever under Saban, and a missed field goal….congratulations you guys beat the worse Bama team under Saban probably since his first season at Bama….you forget Georgia has lost to Bama twice in overtime and at the very end of the game with a chance to win it….it took a complete roster change for Bama to beat Georgia in 2017 and that was overtime. 90% of teams don’t beat Bama that’s not a good way to gauge a team off of the goat coach and program. No Georgia doesn’t have Tennessee or Ohio States offense, but they’re a more balanced team on both sides of the ball. Ohio States lack of defense cost them last year and I predict the same thing to Tennessee this year. Hendon Hooker is a 5th year senior so they maybe able to just keep out scoring opponents and win it all this year but that’s no sustainable, defenses will adapt….they’ve gotta become more balanced on both sides of the ball….and Georgia needs to do the same thing with their offense and production on that side of the ball. Kirby has .700 winning percentage against top 10 teams as a head coach, he must be doing something right. Yea Georgia is returning production but they’re also replacing A LOT of production including starters that are freshman or sophomores. You can’t lose 15 players and 5 first rounders on top of two coaches and not take a step back…..especially when you take 0 transfers. Yes the offense needs to be better, and they’ve had an easy schedule but how about let’s see if they’re just not playing down to their competition or if they’re bad as you say or overrated. Heupel is a great coach and I really like him as a person too from the podcasts interviews I’ve heard him on….he’s doing great things at Tennessee, and seems he will continue to as well

Not that I don't think Bennett is great - but just to be fair - when you compared him to Bryce Young you have to take into account Bryce missed most of the Arkansas game and the entire Texas A&M game. Had he been able to play in those games he's probably ahead of Bennett by now. Again I got nothing against Bennett but it's only fair to point that out
