Georgia fan here Lou. I'm not disappointed in Georgia's season at all. Went udefeated in the regular season for the third year in a row. Won the East Made the SEC championship game for the third year in a row. Got to play Alabama, lost by three, but that's happened before. Playing in the orange Bowl and should beat FSU. Won the last two Natty's. Nobody goes to the playoffs every year. Nobody wins the Natty every year. Georgia fans you should be proud of our team.

Oregon fan here. we went 11-2 which is better than last year. only sad part is that the 2 losses were to Washington and 1 of them stopped us from going to the playoffs. Still with the chance to win the fiesta bowl and finish 12-2 it's still a pretty good year for a second year head coach with no prior head coaching history.

I am disappointed that we lost to Kansas and Oklahoma State, and that we did not get a Big Six Bowl Game, but after last year ... (1) beating Texas this year, and (2) ending the regular season 10-2 ... I'm okay with that. Looking forward to the Alamo Bowl and then seeing how we do next year in the SEC.

I think that USC is the runaway biggest letdown of the year, but I personally think LSU was the most disappointing. Having the Heisman and not getting double digit wins because your defense regresses as bad as it does will always be a letdown.

It’s not an entitlement to be disappointed when you go 12-1 if you are Georgia. The alumni have given much in the way of money and fan support. The coaches are well paid and the facilities are second to none. Therefore Georgia has very high standards. We want to be elite.

My Rutgers Scarlet Knights exceeded expectations with our 6-6 record, but two of our conference opponents in Northwestern and Michigan State had to go with interim head coaches this season due to off the field controversies. We could've otherwise lost both of those games and possibly even against Virginia Tech who also underwhelmed, meaning we would've gone backwards and only won 3 games this season.

That’s how sports work bud. The best team (in your eyes) didn’t win on that day. The Super Bowl winner isn’t always the best team (win/loss record, stats, award winning players, etc). When making mistakes, as a team, with the individual players and coaches, that said team assembled, causes you to take an L, you were not as good as the other team. No matter how many things happened in the past. I hope this helps your understanding of the fundamental concept of competitive sports.

FSU is my ACC team they actually exceeded my expectations. I expected them to go 11-1 with a loss at Clemson. But going 13-0 with a conference title is pretty sweet. Even though I doubt FSU can beat UGA I'm still excited for that game because I think FSU is a really good program but UGA is elite. So to take that next step you gotta beat an elite program.

I wasn’t disappointed in my teams. Georgia Tech was expected to make a bowl and they did that. They also had a winning record at 7-6. Big step forward for their program and I’m happy with Brent Key. So far so good for Tech. FSU I was not disappointed in either. They had a great year too and did not lose a game. 13-0 and won the ACC. And yes the playoff committee disappointed me. But I am proud of my Noles. Great season for FSU. I will say though I am disappointed in how our players have handled being snubbed. None of them are playing in the bowl game against Georgia and now our backup QB has entered the portal. So we are missing Trey benson, Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, Jaheim bell, Jared verse, our backup QB, and other defensive starters. Now we have to start our 3rd string again. So what was such a promising season for my Noles I’m afraid will have a disappointing ending. But this will not change what FSU accomplished. I’m proud of my Jackets and my Noles!

As an Lsu fan i knew what was coming before the end of the first half vs FSU. Tbh, that was not that great of an Lsu offense. Its just brian kellys system. Has no idea what hes doing with elite defensive talent and he tries to run a defense like its freaking Iowa, so the game lasts forever. Especially with the sissy way he runs an offense. Throw to the tight end, check it down, take off and run for the sideline. Jayden Daniels did buck his authority and earned that heisman making big plays. But the whole brian kelly system at Lsu is like delivering pizzas in a racecar. Yea it gets results but the results were looking for at LSU are WINS not STATS !

It's not that we went 8-4. It's how we obtained the record that was disappointing. The 4 losses had some drama, but by the end of the 3rd quarter it was obvious we were going to lose. Only the UK and A&M games felt at all like big wins, which is sad. At least the fans didn't disappoint.

TCU fell off a cliff and I'm genuinely disappointed by that. I was hoping their good coaching and entertaining offense would remain. Obviously they were gonna be significantly worse this season, but missing a bowl game is pretty heinous. That defense was nonexistent and Chandler Morris sucked out loud. At least they nab Andy Avalos from Boise State as DC. Regarding "my" team, the Lobos of UNM beat a good Fresno State team on the road. That's already miles above what anyone would have expected. They also fired their HC and are hiring Bronco Mendenhall, a former UNM guy who has had some coaching success at Virginia and BYU. Making a bowl game in 2 years would be great.

Arkansas is underrated, simply because Arkansas's O-Line turned out to be one of the worst in the country in 2023 which is weird since the O-Line position is supposed to be Sam Pittman's bread and butter. It's not good when you lose key pieces to the transfer portal from an offense that contributed to 9 wins two seasons ago.

Us Utah fans quickly dropped expectations once Cam Rising didn’t play against UCLA and Oregon State. 8-4 regular season was solid for Utah imo.

Am a USC fan and was disappointed especially the Fla game where our DC went AWOL. USC should have won that game and would have been bowl eligible. That one game was reason enough to fire Clayton White. To top that off, Beamer the head coach, had to tell the DC how to fix the defense but he waited too long and season was already lost. If you have to tell an employee who is making Big Bucks how to do his job, then that employee should be an ex-employee. Hope Beamer does the right thing and sends White to the unemployment line but am thinking he may not do it. As for the DC's replacement, any coach can be gotten for the right amount of $. Have been a GC fan for decades and have mostly disappointed with Holtz and Spurrier years being the exceptions mostly. Even those two legends couldn't really get USC over the hump. So am no longer bothered so much when USC loses. Have come to expect it and losses don't bother me as much. Wife used to laugh at me for letting a ball game bother me so much and she was right because it no longer does.
