Amazing! Thank you Tatiana! I am Ukrainian and my girlfriend is Australian but we are huge fans of Khachapuri Imeruli since we visited Georgia two years ago. Will be recreating the magic in just a couple of days. Madloba!

I love Khachapuri, I always order it in georgian, and Armenian restaurants. Looking forward to trying this recipe. The first time when I pronounced it: Catch-a-puri, the sweet georgian lady set me straight and wouldn't accept my order before i could pronounce with a silent k. The goergian restaurant i went to in Kyiv even had a "Khachapuri map" over all the varieties.

This is a great story! Lol thanks for sharing. This type of cheese bread is the most ubiquitous in Georgia where I am now, in the land of khachapuri with silent k.

I was looking for a kachapuri recipe that resembled what i tried in Georgia and all it took to know i was at the right place was a ¨hi: i am Tatiana (insert complicated surname here)¨, delivered with that unmistakably Georgian accent. Thanks for sharing this recipe! I´ll definitely try it at home.

Thanks Tatiana for the amazing video! Imeruli khachapuri is the best. As I know khachapuri is originated from imereti region. I’ve tried khachapuri with eggs as well but didn’t really like.

You are very welcome! Imeruli is my favorite too but Megrelian is also delicious! Thanks for watching!

Hi Tamada, I'm a lover of Georgian food having visited Georgia on several occasions. I notice you don't put oven temperatures on your recipes.
@GeorgianCuisineatTamadasTable3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! And great that you know and love Georgian food. This khachapuri is made on top of the stove. I provide oven temperature for all baked breads.

Hi Tatiana, is it possible to bake the khachapuri imeruli in the oven? If so, at what temperature would you recommend? Love from Germany, Rebecca

Great video! You are a very good teacher. I’m wondering if the khachapuri filling ever has any herbs or other seasonings added to it?
@GeorgianCuisineatTamadasTable3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Typically no fresh herbs or spices are used for classical cheese khachapuri. But some varieties can include fresh herbs, beet greens added to cheese feeling. Check a variety of khachapuri made with tarragon on my channel.

I love Khachapuri a lot but i wish there was alternative to eggs or if it was an optional ingredient in the recipe as my husband is not fond of it.
@GeorgianCuisineatTamadasTable4 жыл бұрын
Dear Prabeshika, you can make the filling without an egg, it will be ok. Please let me know if you have questions.

Can I skip egg?
@GeorgianCuisineatTamadasTable10 ай бұрын
Egg in the cheese glues the filling and also adds flavor but you can skip
