Why have Georgia and Basque, some thing same. Georgian alphabet is 1 of 14 alphabet in world, and not exist language or alphabet which looks like Georgian.
@ditozarnadze54394 жыл бұрын
@@sesita9325 it's surprising, but there are many similarities between Georgian and Basqueic people, such as the language, people have the same surnames and the places have the same names.

Extremely elegant, classy, sublime and . . . AMAZING! I just watched one of the Sukhishvili Georgian National Ballet's more "traditional" productions. And prior to that, I didn't know anything about the beautiful tradition you carry forward. Now I see this modernized version and I LOVE IT!! OMIGOSH! Brilliant on EVERY LEVEL. The blend of everything is perfection. Really a thousand works of art with this! The choreography . . . on the bridge!! WOW. The camera angles, the customs, the tradition . . . with the modern flare.

Someone once told me that the word gorgeous comes from Georgia since their women are so beautiful. I can see from this video why! BTW, the world Georgia may have had its roots in the way Persians called Georgians (Gorji). So it is entirely possible that Gorgeous is derived from Gorji!
@tamar59813 жыл бұрын
So interesting! May be that’s true. “When describing Persians, old traveler Jean Chardin, says that their blood was improved and dignified through the frequent marriages with Georgians. You will not able to find a noblemen or an outstanding figure in Persia whose mother is not a Georgian”, - Charles Darwin, English naturalist and geologist.
@DariusSarrafi3 жыл бұрын
@@tamar5981 Actually, scientifically speaking the more you mix races the better genes you get. There is no "standard" Persian race. We were mixed with Mongols, Arabs, Turks, Armenians, Russians, etc. Having said that, the Georgian people I've seen have been very good-looking!
@tamar59813 жыл бұрын
@@DariusSarrafi I agree with you and that’s why Ottoman Turks and Safavid Iranians tried to improve their race. The role of Georgians had especially grown during Safavid empire in Iran. The whole Shah’s harem was staffed by Caucasians especially with Georgian women even in Ottoman Turkey. “All Europeans who have even once visited Georgia agree that Georgian and Circassian women are very charming and attractive. Turks, Arabs, Persians also share their point of view. They even tried to improve their genes through Georgian blood and the Persians achieved it”, - Immanuel Kant, German philosopher.
@DariusSarrafi3 жыл бұрын
@@tamar5981 I believe that unless we are socialized into racism (mostly white but even black), humans tend to be attracted to those who have features that are different from them. The concept of race didn't even exist 500 years ago when the Safavid ruled. I think they just liked those fair skinned women with blonde hair and blue eyes. My ancestors migrated from Baku and Ukraine. But since I'm dark, I have always been attracted to lighter women which is why I'm married to a fair-skinned blonde woman with blue eyes! Assuming what you are saying is true about the kings and their courts, it only applied to aristocracy. Commoners don't have the luxury of choosing their partners in procreation! But in the final analysis the prevailing scientific consensus is that the notion of "race" is bogus. We are all mutations of our African ancestors who had to migrate out of Africa and spread around the world due to scarcity!
@tamar59813 жыл бұрын
@@DariusSarrafi I really don’t want to say that we Georgians are superior to others, every nation is unique itself. I do respect your country with its wonderful culture! Georgians and Persians have shared so many from each other during different stages of history.
@ashado448920 күн бұрын
Extraordinary - everything from the choreography, photography, costumes, settings, and most of all the graceful movements of the women, and the powerful dancing by the men, and the chemistry between them! The only complaint is that it is too short. There must have been hours and days of dancing and preparation in making this video before editing. Is there a fuller version that we can see instead of playing it over and over again? I don't mind if it is a 1 hour documentary.
