As a 3 gen shrimper there starving us an the government not doing anything to help us .they flood the market with imports an drop it on the market right befor our season opens .from Texas to North Carolina. As a kid I started with my dad an couldn't wait to have my own boat .it's more political now than people making a liveing an most them city guys that don't understand ways of commercial fishing. But they won't complain about eating them.they making it a dying way of life .awesome awesome video this should been on discovery channel

Wow, how doesn't this video have more views/likes? It's so informational; if anyone's curious, I'm here for background research after a Vampires: The Masquerade game, wherein someone burned down a dockside bar in Boston, after separating the heads of a few shrimpers from their bodies. Wanted to find out what kind of life these mariners have. Considering the lack of comments here, I'd love to know why you're all here as viewers; c'mon, let's get a conversation or two going ;) Also, if you're reading this, Hi to our Storyteller, Liz :)
