I am over 50 and plus size. I always have dressed on the modest side. I love color and patterns. My daughter late 20's. Was saying to me you should dress to impress because you can only make one first impression. She doesn't agree with my summer pants (light weight pattered and usually colorful). I also have your same style top . How I style is top and trouser and long cardigan (yes usually with a pattern)

NO! I'm 76 and I dress for comfort! My young years, the hippie, macro skirt, mini skirt, midi skirt, maxi dress and I loved every one of those styles. Platform shoes, clogs (still wear.Dansko) Burkenstock (yes, still wear). So if I want to wear flowers I will!!! Whatever makes me happy, I've earned it! But my go to is oversized sweater, tunic, leggngs, maxi dress, midi dress. Comfort a lounge dress, usually a long one or sweats in winter. So there my dear lawyer, when you get older, parts need replaced let's see what you wear!

I totally agree! I am 78 and feel you need to dress with joy. Start dressing stodgy and with fear of what people may think stifles your creativity and people won't find you as interesting. A big smile should be your best accessory. Keep it up!

I think I know exactly which KZbinr you were mentioning at the start of this video! I just came across her channel last week and was binge watching a bunch of them. I have so many prints in my closet these days. I’m retired now, but it reminded me of how I used to dress in a mostly solid color way when I worked in a corporate setting during my career. Very subdued color palette that I sometimes miss in terms of its simplicity.

I do too, night time I use Dr. Team's Sleep Lotion, so good, Lavender and Chamomile and Melatonin. Smells so look gooood!!!! So I'm smelling my ands. I do that and buy things because I go by smell for habd, body and cleaning.

Sometimes, more than the box, I enjoy your wonderful tops! The one you are wearing isn't "just a neutral" but a lovely color with your hair, and a great shape. I think she went overboard and should have said that "ditsy" pale prints don't really make an older woman look alive and vibrant.
