Pay close attention to how Vander sounds after he takes the shimmer and transforms. His voice, particularly when he shouts Silco's name, sounds a lot like blood scent activated Warwick. They're already working up to it.

I mean the people in Riot's Entertainment division are already calling it the, and I quote, "League of Legends cinematic universe" so yeah, I don't say it cuz of speculation, it's just a fact at this point. They said they're not gonna do it MCU style where every single little detail is connected and branching into some bigger story where everyone comes together, it's gonna be their own different stories about different places in Runeterra with the already established characters we all know and love, but it's still ultimately gonna be all connected cuz it's the same world. That said, I would personally love to see, in the future, the invasion of Ionia and all the stories it brings, Singed giving Noxus the chemicals, Swain's rise to power, Irelia cutting Swain's arm off (and maybe we could finally see how he made the deal with the demon Raum, and know more about that story), the whole misunderstanding between Yasuo, Yone and Riven. So fcking excited man😍

You can actually see Warwick's body at the end of ep 9. The camera is behind what looks like a humanoid strapped to the ceiling and we see Singed sitting down, looking up towards it. That thing strapped to the ceiling is Warwick. There's a Singed story on universe where the camera is instead behind Singed's desk, looking directly at him and what's behind him: Warwick, strapped to the ceiling. I recommend Necrit's videos about it 😁.

Little background on Old Warwick, before his rework his lore stated that he was cursed to be a werewolf (dont remember properly) and the only way to him to get rid of it was by eating the heart of a celestial, but as there are few of them alive the only one he knew about was Soraka! Thats a little easter egg on his taunting with her

Yeah Warwick has 2 massive lore origins from what I read, both are really good imo. Soraka curse him / Singed experimental beast. Since Warwick is one of my top 3 video game character of all time, I have my own fantasy taking both the Soraka and Singed origins, as well as pre-Warwick when the man used to be a gangster or Bounty hunter in my head. That how much I love Warwick even before Arcane. 😂

The "Zaun Needed you." line is more than likely referencing when Vi disappeared in the League lore. She vanished without a trace at some point while still doing stuff in Zaun right around the time some major upheaval happened and the chembarons took over. And reappeared a while later working with Caitlyn to take down a murderous gang that had been rampaging through Zaun and Piltover. That disappearance was likely when she was captured and thrown in Stillwater.

in fact, if you look at the character Singed in Arcane, you can't call him a "villain" (as obvious as it may sound, given the trend of making "gray" characters, at least in Arcane it's done well). Watching the series, you can see that he pushes the development of the plot by helping everyone who asks him (of course, he is motivated by the desire for experiments). There are positive intentions in his actions, and he warns each hero that he is turning to him for help. Short short story long - Singed reminds me very much as a character of "mages" / "sage" / "genie" - the hero comes to him to get something, he gives it to them, but the hero understands that his desires were dangerous and he himself does not need them. + a very strong emphasis in the series is on his impatience: he is happy to help those who ask him.

It’s interesting to me that in game lore singed seemed like a psychopath, like he lacks pretty much any empathy. Yet in arcane he seems more human, he is still ruthless and calculating, pragmatic to a core, but his moments with victor and him talking about his daughter make it seem like he’s not just psycho like in the game

to the voiceline to vi:"the fear in your eyes, ive seen it before" i think he is recalling the moment where he picked them up on the bridge. also i have a mini micro theory about vander/warwick, wich is reinforced in his voicelines regarding "i was always a monster".in arcane ep1 the dude vander beat up on the bridge before he ran into vi and jinx, i dont think that was an enforcer. i think that was one of silcos goons. to put it better, vander did what he did long before he became warwick, he just paused when he had to take care of powder and vi, and then started again when he thought he lost them to the same sht he tried to do nothing about and just hope they dont make a move, wich he did the first 3 episodes of arcane until he got blown up by powder. because think about the chain of events: vander is in a random lake with silco and tries to drown him then he goes on the bridge, knocks out an enforcer and then finds vi and powder? doesnt make sense to me tbh. i think its more possible that between the breakup with silco and the bridge scene could be a few days or weeks. where he did everything to stop silcos gang aka zaunite gangsters, the same kind of people he hunts now as warwick. thats why he says that

So, something interest about Warwick's past that can be very slightly seen in Vander still is that Warwick very much so is giving into this idea that "he became the monster he always was". And while it's very, very slight, we do get the idea that Vander wasn't always as gentle hearted as he came to be. Mainly I'm pulling from the scene where we learned Vander once betrayed Silco and tried to drown him. Vander says he's never forgiven himself for it. And considering Vander's status in the Underground as the kind of leader figure who eventually lead the raid one Piltover we see at the start of Arcane, it's not unlikely Vander did a lot of shifty stuff originally to get to his position. It's not unthinkable why Vander betrayed Silco in the first place was just for more power, thus why Vander can't forgive himself. (Vander is super angry in those flashbacks.) Take in as well, as Silco introduces Shimmer to Vander in that same scene, Silco tells Vander he is going to show him the man he truly is, with an ominous shot alluding to Vander using Shimmer later. Now just take Silco's words about "the man Vander truly is" and replace the word 'man' with 'monster'. :p

The best thing about Vi, Jinx, and Warwick, is that they're League of Legends stories were written well before Arcane, but they purposefully left off important details (like Vi and Jinx being sisters or Warwick being Vander) so it was still fresh for Arcane, but it was planned all along.

If I'm not mistaken, Singed worked with Heimerdinger and Heimer rejected Singed because of the direction he was going with his science. This "waking the inner true self" mentality and so Singed moved to Zaun to continue his research by himself.

Vi didn`t cry and scream until Vander,Mylo and Claggor`s death. It was Powder who later became Jinx who cried, screamed and had panic attacks the most of the Lanes because even before becoming Jinx she was emotionally and psychologically unstable and had deep-seated abandonment and insecure attachment issues as a Zaunite war orphan who lost her parents at a young age.

@@georgieegames lmao yeah basically everyone who said that is wrong as of the recent Riot announcement. They decided to announce that everything is now canon from Arcane to the spinoff games. All one unified lore now, which now leaves everyone to sort through the conflicting lore and I guess what is going to happen moving forward is some things will simply be abandoned (such as Ekko's LoL story) while other things will be considered the correct version (like Arcane Ekko)

His laugh #4,5,6 are only played when you use the Hyena Warwick skin. At 12:40 in episode 3 when Silco says "I'll show you what you really are" a tune very similar to Warwick's blood hunt starts playing and when Sevika throws her cig to the floor a very distorted howl can be heard as the view changes back to Piltover. Crazy foreshadowing from the very beginning.

The one thing that stands out, and makes me doubt that Vander is Warwick, is the knife. Vander had his gauntlets, even when he was a ganger he still used the gauntlets. What if Warwick is Silco? What if Jynx takes Silco to Singed in the "epilogue". The physical transformation would be more dramatic, and the fall just as tragic

There is one reason why your theory can't be True because at the end in season 1 when Jinx shoot the rocket we already see Warwick hanging in Singed lab when at the same Silco is still dead on the chair so Silco can't be Warwick

In the struggle scene between vander and silco in the water, the knife silco uses to stab vander is taken from vander's own waist. Vander had a knife, and very likely he used it. A lot. The fists were probably the most devastating and thus remained a symbol of his power, But a knife is much faster to equip and easier to carry around, and he wouldn't be carrying his gauntlets everywhere on a daily basis, too heav. He likely only used them during premeditated raids or in order to send a message.

making a horror escape game in Zaun about escaping Warwick would make such a good game - the same goes for a jump and run game in Piltover-Zaun with the Arcane ep 1 gang ^^ funfact: the glowing claw of WW is the right ârm- the same Vander had his leather bandage on because Silco wounded him there. The wild rift trailer is in fact connected to the original champion trailer. Did you see the Jinx scribble on the wall ^^? "...the monster I once was". we only know the Vander that cared for the kids in Arcane - but there was another one before that time - someone who built the underground and rose against Piltover. Someone that even tried to drown in so called brother. Silco said that he will show him what he really is ... according to the writers we might get more flshbacks there. Maybe we will see there a different Vander?
