7:00 I don't know if you didn't encounter that scene because it was easy to miss her but Roccia actually told us how she was put in a pilgrimage. Before you talk to the old man in the Fool's hideout you can actually see Roccia down where Brant was standing so most people might have not seen her. Long story short, this mirrors her experience. She was a performer, her troupe performed a play that was deemed inappropriate by the Order (hence why the painting/their performance was hunting them down) and saw the death of her friends in the "sacred" land.

Yep, this is a good summary of her story she told us in that main story segment. I remember when I saw Brant talking with a kid, I thought Roccia has to be somewhere around too and she really was.

3:37 I think it's a reference to when Roccia was sent on the pilgrimage and almost perished and then Pero saved her (which I'm guessing was a wondering echo) and that's when her resonance ability was awoken, this is just my theory though.

Just read the words of the songs, it 's easy to understand : The photo frames in the front are the various plays performed by Roccia and the members of the troupe. Most of them are relatively open and romantic, so they were persecuted by the order. The photo frames turned into monsters because the order used these plays as crimes to exile them. This is my comprehension of this trailer the first part

my fav is Shorekeeper, she's intellegent and pragmatic but also emotional in a way that i don't think any other wuwa character has been yet. She's different and i don't think there will be another wuwa character liker her at all.

By far, my fav character would definitely be Shorekeeper! Her design is just sooo magestic and her personality exceeded my expectations, I really thought that she would be one of those cold and mysterious types. But she turned out to be the sweetest most precious character ever and I love the trope of 'non-humans' learning how to be human as well c: On a side note, thank u for all the content! I've been dying to find someone who commentates as well as theorize game lores because a lot of the media I consume are ones I can't play lol, Thank u for sharing your experience :D

I think my favorite character is the Shorekeeper. The fact that she is willing to go that far for someone she loves is just something admirable for me. I hope we get to see more of their stories in the future.

I think the thing chasing her is meant to represent how the art, play, and stages that used to be something she's proud of and enjoy are now actively the things that are sending her to her death; she's afraid of them, and she kept running but eventually they caught up to her (getting sent to the pilgrimage). Other people have different reasons to be sent to the pilgrimage and I think for her it's something along those lines. Cause it looks like it's all the plays that she's ever done with the troupe and she was clearly proud of them.

I think the song is actually pretty clear in what happened even for people who missed that dialogue with Roccia during the quest. Just before the "Run, Run, Run" part is the line "All you once had made is proof now of your crime" so the plays they performed were against Rinascita's weird "no more fun for people" rule, so that's why she got sent on the pilgrim's sail.

My favorite character in the game recently is Brant. I love how bombastic his personality is! I can't wait for him to release! Before him it's Xiangli Yao because he's so calm.

I’m gonna get her 100%! When she saved Rover in the story, I made up my mind to pull for her. Btw, my favorite wuwa character is FRover, she is so cool but adorable at the same time. She’s strong in both lore and gameplay, truly befitting the MC title. I played the game because of her and stayed after all these months because of her, I love her that I made animations about her LOL. FRover is practically my favorite game character for months now.

I love how there are mutiple voice calling her name when she was about to disappear. It's so unfair to choose just one favorite character. There's a lot of good characters, but Xiangli Yao is my first favorite and the reason why I played the game because I love close combat playstyle and softie characters. Voiced by my favorite JP voice actor too.

Excited for Roccia woo!🥳 As for my favorite character, it has to be Changli. She has such a mysterious yet warm aura to her that makes her very intriguing. She obviously is a mentor figure for Jinhsi and has respect for the Rover, but I also love how she clearly has a playful side to her that is shown in her gameplay and the somnoire event. Another thing i love about her is that she is a phoenix themed character yet she is not immortal, she has very limited time on this earth yet she has dedicated every moment of her time to enjoy it to the fullest by making the world a better place for others. She is just a very admirable, beautiful and intriguing character. I always have a hard time picking only 1 favorite so I gotta give a shout out to my beautiful man Aalto as well! 🥰

My favorite character so far is Camellya, I just feel like there’s more to her than just being “crazy” It’s like she’s putting on a façade and doesn’t really know who she really is bc of her memory loss. It’s admirable how she doesn’t let that bring her down and just enjoys her life to the fullest. I also really love her design and her gameplay is soooo fun! Had to c2 her and I’m happy to say I’m a Camellya main ❤

My story of starting Wuwa: Tbh I was getting extremely bored of genshin because there wasn't much to do except for exploration.. and one of my best friends showed me Brant's drip marketing which made me download wuwa 😅😅 from childhood I always had a thing for pirates(in a good way) that's why Brant is very special to me at least.... But low chances of getting the weapon and Brant cuz of sitting at 0 pity after getting Carlotta and only saved upto 30 pulls.. but looking forward to Roccia's story quest 🤔 hopefully Brant will appear too 👍

You’ve got a lot of things to do still and I’m sure you can get enough astrites for Brant~ Kuro also usually gives 5 gold pulls every new patch besides the 7 on the shop if you have enough corals for those. I’m aiming for Brant too but really tempted to get Roccia to complete Fools’ Troupe XD

Meanwhile Yinling is still somewhere in Jinzhou waiting for her Companion Questto be done, as Rover meets Roccia across an ocean Also, something interesting to note is that while watching you play, I've noticed how many hints there were that just go by, at least five within the first 20 minutes of gameplay (if you rush)

That mean the photo that haunt her maybe what she does with her friend and the order use that as proof to send her and her friend to pilgrimage, that picture frame is attack other too, not only her, maybe her friend had set sail with her(song sang like that what she had do is proof of her crimes) , and we all know what wait at the end of pilgrims, it's understandable why she look like in afterlife and then pero and some help her, not sure I didn't know about whose sound called her but I think it's Brant, he called her firstmate, so I think Brant same her by himself Absolute cinema Absolute Mamma mia

Before i wasnt really interested in wuwa like the graphics and music ect...are great (but personally to much wuthering wives for me though 🤣not trying to be rude though to others its just my personal view ) but seeing brant and then roccia im really loving there desgin and personality. And i hope if they have more interesting characters like these i will start to enjoy the game more i think

Honestly even I, a dedicated player of Wuwa started since launch am critical of the way Kuro creates female characters. After a long while I just accepted it, and no worries about being rude from the statement Wuthering Wives I'm pretty sure most players have accepted that already and we can't really deny the accusations (Just be careful not to say it almost every post about Wuwa, the community is defensive and some just can't see it and accept it). They, Kuro at least redeem themselves about the storytelling and it seems to have improved even more with the 2.0 patch.

I think of it likewise. At first it didn't bother me so much but I started seeing the amount of fawning every single character does and it was getting annoying. 2.0 is such a refresher honestly.

I mean I'd be like seriously another one inlove with rover but I'd just be happy if it's equal. The story telling in this patch is much better though

The devs already addressed the Wuthering Wives issue during an interview in Korea. They're planning to add more male units. Problem is, when and what ratio. I'm a guy and I really don't care if I play male, female, gay, monster character as long as they're cool as hell and it doesn't break world-building. I think too many female units in WuWa would break world-building and will hurt the narrative so they should do something about that unless they want to be the typical gacha. I wouldn't mind if this game was marketed as a waifu/husbando simulator like HI3, Nikke, GFL2, Love and Deepspace, etc. But it wasn't.

The problem with Roccia is she is way too cute...but her animations are not that appealing to me.....and on top of that brant is coming soon.....so rather than the first mate i prefer the captain....of the fools
