Online grocery shopping has helped me save money on groceries so much! I used to spend at least $150 a week and now spend around $80! It lets me really plan what I need and search what’s on special etc. You can click and collect with woolies as well if you don’t want to pay the delivery fee🤗

This is such an AMAZING video to be up on KZbin. I often feel like I'm failing financially because I can't go on crazy holidays or buy beautiful clothes or go out every night because I see people my age (21) on KZbin and Instagram buying all these extravagant things and living such a lush life. This has really reminded me that that isnt what its like for most people and that saving is important if you want to be able to achieve your goals. Always love watching your videos! ❤️

I am just baffled how you got a house, wedding, car, honeymoon and traveled to the U.S while getting your lips done- having a personal trainer- and wearing cute clothes. Do you save so you can spend- or is there any money for emergencies? I love you and am jealous- I can barely spend money on getting my hair done
@atlaguff85196 жыл бұрын
@Christa Schovanec - maybe also Georgia’s and Tim’s parents are quite wealthy (investment properties, ASX share market / stocks, BitCoin, luxury wristwatch collections like Patek Philippe & Vacheron Constantin & high-end Rolex) and helped them out with some of their costs

I just want to say that I really appreciate this video and your way of discussing money and sponsorships! It just really makes me respect you. Super honest and real while also acknowledging that you do come from a place of more privilege that some of your followers (i.e. dual income). Lately some of my favourite youtubers have been kind of sneaky and dishonest about sponsorship and stuff so you're honesty is quickly making you climb up to the top of my list!
@GeorgieStevenson6 жыл бұрын
I always am honest with you guys just as I would be with my close friends so I am so glad it shows that way! Exactly I did have a dual income and didn't want anyone to compare themselves if they do not have a dual income. oh gosh.... I feel you, have actually felt the same lately which is probably why I feel such a need to talk like that! Thanks for the comment, love conversing like this :)

You are such an inspiration and I wish every young person could watch this! After only 5 years of working you were able to save for a house, wedding, car- that would be at least 115k of savings (assuming you have a mortgage and didn't buy the house outright too). Is there a particular percentage of your income you recommend saving? By my rough calculations it seems like you must have been saving close to 100% post-tax!
@GeorgieStevenson6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The wedding and house were 50% of my partner so need to factor that in but we try to both save 50% of our earnings after tax then we pay our mortgage and the rest is "fun money" :)

Hey girl! Oh yay congratulations! For me and Tim we save 50% of our pay, put $100 into our "bills" account, then the rest is "fun money" so usually around $150-$200 each :) If I have an event coming up I will try to have a 'quiet' weekend before - sometimes we do have to dip into out savings but most of the time it is easy to stick to it, hope this helps ❤️
