To answer your question, Anna: As someone who worked in luxury retail for 2.5 years, there were, in fact, opportunities to find high-caliber men. However, they tended to look at you as more of a fling as they looked at you as not “on their level”. Once I left this job to work another one where I made much more money, I was enabled to travel much more which led me to be included into the high-society social circle. Through being in this circle, not only are you surrounded by high-caliber men, but they see you as someone more on their level and they will take you more seriously. In Georgina’s case, she was extremely lucky. Working in luxury retail is a great way to have a peek into high-society, but I would recommend not to stay there for too long and find a better way to get into high-society!

I met a man who worked in retail. He was a shoe salesman. My friends laughed at me, I fell in love with Johnston and Murphy men's shoes. But he wanted, to like ,Georgina take care of his dad. He cried and broke our date, on my birthday. So he could have leveled up with me, but I will always look for someone love at first sight no matter what. Georgina just met her dad and her boyfriend thought she'd make a great mother for his kid. They probably will have a wedding when she works out her attachment to her father.

Yes, both she and Cristiano were lucky in my opinion to meet in the right place and time. He might've thought of her as a fling at first but he found the gem he was looking for (keeping in mind that all men are different and want different women). He was looking for a woman who could be the mother of his children and the backbone of his family. He dated many famous models and beautiful, rich women but still couldn't find the one he was looking for and eventually stumbled upon her in a Gucci store. He was lucky too.

After finishing the first episode, an important detail that was mentioned was that Cristiano’s son Junior was the first one to greet Georgina. Tying that in with what Anna said, it really was just perfect timing. Cristiano had his twins and saw that his son took a liking to Georgina. She excels as a mother figure especially with her previous nanny experience. Also the two have a very similar upbringing. The two are a great match.
@michellev44393 жыл бұрын
Also- Cristiano said that Georgina is mature for her age, but also that their age gap enticed him. Based on what he said, he seemed to have been getting the best of both worlds from Georgina. She was a young, sexy woman who gave him excitement and made him feel young and alive- but also proved herself to be fit to be the mother figure to his children. Georgina deserves more credit for that; not many people at the age of 22 are ready to fulfill that maternal role. My husband and I actually have the same age gap between Cristiano and Georgina. He was born in the same year as Cristiano and I was born in the same year as Georgina. I see the similarities in our dynamic. We now have a baby boy. :)

From my perspective, elegance comes by using money to seek education, culture, experiences, books, and so on. It doesn't have to be big big money, it's just prioritizing that what doesn't perish. I come from an upper-ish middle class family, and my mom and dad both are college graduates. That's it, no big money, sometimes not enough money. And I get the comment so often that I'm so high class. I ask back: what gives it up, is it my H&M clothes or my constant use of sneakers? And people answer: it is the way you are always put together, your personality, how you carry yourself, the way you speak, or how you formulate complex ideas. Apparently that sort of matters. Never try and be better than anyone. Always your own best version I guess.

I worked as a Sales Associate at Gucci as well. In the case of celebrities, either they have a personal sales associate that they have known for a while, or some of the sales associates in the boutique are like "specialized in high-end/celebrity customers" and they are the ones who take care of that kind of customer. Celebrities don't pay attention to other sales associates either, and actually very few of them are polite to us. Georgina's case is an exception and this kind of pattern rarely if ever happens. As someone who has worked as a waitress for almost 7 years, I always tell anyone who cares to listen, use men for what you can get from them there and then. Dating them outside of work is a no-no for me. As some women have rightly said in the comments, they never see you on their level, only want to sleep with you. Georgina’s case is extremely rare, maybe cos it was his son that approached her first. I actually thought they met at a party before he knew she was a sales assistant. He found it extremely embarrassing, and even though he didn't need her after a certain age she was still in the home to care for his small siblings. Suffice to say, he had to settle the attempted school bullying with his fists. My grandparents had a huge ranch, horses, owned an entire valley and a couple of mountains, so he stood out in the crowd. Children can be such little assholes, so he was forced to set the boundaries. He was expected to work on the ranch from childhood, and any bullying came up against muscle. He did like his nanny though; she never married or had children, so until she died in her late 90s and him in his 70s, he would always check up on her to make sure she had what she needed. I worked at London Heathrow airport for 7years, for luxury brands, and as a personal shopper. You do meet a LOT of affluent people, however they usually treat you like staff. Personally I think it’s incredibly rare that anyone will pick up a sales assistant for a long term relationship. Because you give customer service it’s hard for a man to tell if you like them or are just being friendly. If a man is inclined to chat up a sales girl, then he will have done that to lots of girls & isn’t serious. Also, a lot of ladies get into high end sales with the dream to meet a man, it’s embarrassing to see the girls overly dressed up or falling over themselves for a man in the store. In my opinion is it a good place to meet a man, yes… and no!

Handed me her business card. She didn’t know what to do with her life and was at a cross roads. I was at the time teaching at a modelling school that I had previously started but handed over to another person. I suggested she join the school and do deportment as well as acting classes. This lady didn’t hesitate to join the modelling school. Several months later she met a prince from another country and ended up marrying him. Even though not conventionally beautiful she stood out. She was serene and has good manners. Held herself well and had poise. She came from a good family that wasn’t in the elite rich .Just a normal family background. Society is always against the new rich, and if you watch the show "The gilded age" you can actually understand the connotation. People have this idea that old money is "classy" while new money is "trash", it's all about classism...but the truth is that people feel more comfortable with secret rich people rather than flashy ones
@_CL2 жыл бұрын
I think generally people just dislike flashy rich people, if the "nouveau rich" didn't flaunt their money to the general public like the Kardashians do, I doubt people would care this much. I think there's levels to this because while a lot of people think old money is "classier," what they usually mean is out of sight, out of mind because they know the old rich or the richest families in the world did and still do shady things. Look at the Hilton family for example, one of the richest families in the world for a few generations, but people didn't really care about them until Paris Hilton became controversial and flashy, and she's not nouveau rich.

People just hate the fact that some people can move to different classes because their status are now different and can't be looked down upon. They hate people leveled up because they will have better chances, connection, opportunity. It is called competition. No wonder people also condemn plastic surgery because they hate People will get better face and enhance their opportunity in social life. People are selfish, they are trying to find flaws in everything because they hate they can't be someone who can level up.

Ladies, I think it is important for you to know that there is also something called a "profit pregnancy". If a woman has a man's child, the man will have to pay child support based on how much the man makes. So the richer the man the more he has to pay and that can be millions of dollars throughout the years. Of course the child support money goes to the mother. I am not saying that Georgina knew about profit pregnancy, but based on how she dated a guy for less than a year, not married, and then had a child with him, it is totally possible. And tbh, that is one way of leveling up. Married or not, Georgina gets the money, that is why she is ok with it.

I work at a prominent high end retail department store on fifth avenue in NYC, and over the years some other high end locations also on fifth ave. You will definitely NOT meet a rich man working in retail. You may serve one once in a while, but these men always come flanked by a wife or girlfriend already. Or their security detail. Neither which is conducive to a “meet cute”. Also, store policy strictly forbids any “forward” attention to prominent clients (men or women). Maybe in the days of Carolyn at Calvin Klein, high profile men came in to shop as needed, but in this digital age, all serious shopping is done online where it’s safer and not “shop worn”. Sure, she doesn’t agree with her on everything, but Anna is way more respectful and mature than to make a video judging someone else’s life. I agree with a lot of Anna’s points. Georgina seems very in touch with her past and upbringing, she really seems to love her family, and has the means to be so giving which she chooses to do. I am certain many people in her status would not be making the same choices. I wasn’t bothered as much by her designer style and diamonds. A lot is probably given to her (as we saw in one episode). She also worked in retail and loves fashion and appreciates those items (as we saw her dusting her own handbags). Anyways, I enjoyed the video Anna! Can’t wait for what’s next 😉

As the mother of his child, she needs legal protection and such in case something happens to him. If his living will says she has medical allowances and such, then cool. But just imagine if he was hospitalized and she wasn't able to be at his side because she's not legally his wife. Girlfriends don't count. That's my point. But it sounds like he's doing right by her even without a ring unlike most guys who don't marry the women they're with

I think is cheaper for him to give her an allowance than to marry her. He is worth a fortune and it will be a big deal for him financially, this is one of the reasons he had his other 2 babies via surrogates because he would not have any legal obligation with their biological mothers.

I am old school and I would not bring a baby to this world intentionally if I was not married. It would not be fair to the children especially if he was a absentee father. If I wanted to get married and loved him and he loves me there is no reason we can’t get married. The excuse that he is so busy is ludicrous you don’t have to have a blow out wedding just get married in city hall. Now if she does not want to get marry I respect her decision, but if he does not want to marry I would definitely leave him. Why would I waste my younger years to a man who does not feel I deserve to be his wife. I seen too many women get hurt hoping he will marry her and at the end marry someone else.

So I'm a flight attendant in my 20s and naturally I meet celebrities/buisenessmen/politicians at work. Usually the kind that asks for my phone number is 60+ y.o. interested in quick and meaningless kind of relationship, some explicitly invited me to share a hotel room with them. I never agree as I'm not interested. In 3 years of flying not a single person approached me for *me* and not my uniform , apparently it's "cool" to hook up with a flight attendant...

Agreed! She still seems like she stayed humble and grounded regardless of the diamonds and luxury clothes she wears. Last summer she was photographed by paparazzi on their luxury yacht, doing the family's laundry and hanging the clothes out to dry without makeup and hair done. It was almost comical that she was doing so ordinary things in that massive boat but respectable at the same time. I guess people like Cristiano grow to know women and read their intentions quite well. It's not by accident that he didn't marry any of the affluent, already famous supermodels he'd dated but already proposed to the ordinary smalltown girl whom he met in a store.

It's not necessary that she feels she is "better than everyone else" .. She most likely could just be feeling lucky that she can buy what she wants... Everything that was elusive for her until now. And it's endearing to see someone pamper themselves this. I too am happy for her.

Sometimes it is "needed" to take jobs that don't align with what we took in post-secondary to meet people and expand our network. Being good at sales is a skill everyone needs, and making sales in places where you can meet doctors, lawyers, accountants, and affluent business people can really help you level up and make real connections with people. There are so many times I received offers from wealthy individuals to come and work for their company because of how honest, genuine and authentic I was. Sometimes it's ok to job hop to get invited to that work Christmas party and mix with highly successful people. Or if you want to be your own girl boss... you can gain a lot of inside knowledge by asking them questions about how they achieved success; take notes and then take action! Remember, you are who you hang out with.

Women who are good with children are high in demand in the marriage market. As the feminism is influencing women more, it fails to teach them how to keep a family. So men usually accept harmless flaws like lack of style etc if the woman can create a family and plays her good old feminine role

I find her a strong woman. She grew up poor and worked her ass off and has to be grounded to make a family and stabilizing force in Christianos life. I like her warmth and marriage is on Christiano. Why he doesn’t take the plunge is beyond me. He’s lucky to have her not the other way around.
