What a heartbreaking true song you have written. I’m a grandmother so not young but I have suffered with mental illness (severe depression numerous attempts at suicide) and I love my kids but they don’t know how much my smile when I see them or my grandchildren is forced because I will be thinking words pretty much like you have written They are in their 30 now but my youngest still shouts at me for staying in pyjamas and in my room all day. But see they are grown now so surely I can have time to myself now? Especially when I have to fight so hard so one of them doesn’t come to visit and find my body???
