The sneeze at 16:43, the "oh god it's got me" and the blow of the nose being kept in the video just solidly confirms how much you enjoy the content you make. You don't feel the need to edit in fancy music, cut out the sneezes or have to dress up fancy for the camera. You even still check if you're still recording every video. I love it. that sneeze irked me though. One should always sneeze into their elbow, not directly into their hands. As hands are the part of your body that touches every surface and thus spreads the germs. I know he's at home, BUT once you learn to sneeze into your hands, you do it generally everywhere you go. It's something that has irked me for a long time (no, i do not have germophobia), but especially more so now during the covid-19 outbreak.

Hey GeoWizard, a quick tip to recognize Thailand instantly: at 11:07 on the street pole there is an image of the Thai monarch. They have it everywhere and once you have seen that picture, you cannot unsee it :)

I randomly stumbled upon this channel in fall/autumn of 2015 and therefore was subscribed when he "just" had a few thousand subs. And legend me did not even watch the "mission across Wales" which he got famous for. Just like I subscribed to LazarBeam before 2 million and to Pewds at like 6.7 million or so during his "Slender - The Arrival" series and did not really watch any of them during their peak.

I kept (silently) screaming to look at the highway marker style - Laos has blue, Thailand has white with a black symbol on. You're staring at two white signs with black symbols on.

Yeah, the "Not knowing Laos flag" issue aside (it is very different from Thailand) that's what I was screaming at the screen (admittedly only metaphorically): look at the style of the signs. Not the numbers, we're not in for a perfect score, we just need the country.

Being able to recognize written scripts & languages should be the number one skill developed for this game. It baffles me that you're looking at the Thai flag and unsure whether it's Thai or Laos, but one look at the written script and it's instantly obvious that you're in Thailand.

I think what swayed me from South Africa to Eswatini on the last round were the road markings. White lines in the middle with yellow lines on the outside. I feel like SA has yellow lines in the middle alot like the US. Kudos making it that far in any case!

I'm from Sioux Falls. I recognized from the street sign instantly where you were. That brick building with the garage is Touchmark at All Saints. It was originally built in the 19th century as a private religious school, but is now an assisted living/retirement community.

that tiny green sign next to the white sign you were trying to figure out in #10 (michigan) is a US mile marker signpost. They're green and have text vertically. Sometimes they're black on white, but 90% (i think) they're small rectangular signs near the ground, usually on a post and occasionally on bridge features, and green.

This alphabet and left side driving can only be Thailand. Other clues: Yellow flags (former king color) King picture on the poles Light grey police car with dark burgundy stripe Lactasoy sign (police station sponsor!) Sort of mythical bird silhouette on road signs (national symbol) City name with Ubon on Nakhon in it Hope that helps in the future :)

A tip for the Thailand/Laos one, google maps matches up the sign types with the labels. So Thailand has white signs with black symbols above them on both the map and on the signs you were looking at.

For Thailand/Laos knowing the difference between the scripts could help! They look very similar but generally Lao looks curlier and Thai is more angular or 'squared off'.

Quick tip for Canada, if you see a Canadian flag you can instantly remove Quebec from the possibilities because down there everyone has the Quebec flag instead of the Federal one. If it has a lot of mountains its in British Columbia or west Alberta.

6:20 That Danish sign said "Ærindekørsel tilladt". I don't think you would have been able to read that anyway :D The upper sign means no cars or motorbikes are allowed to drive in. The lower one with the text allows some driving though - if you only have a quick errand like picking up or dropping off or if you live down the road and are on your way home (errands).

On the second one you can see the orange poles on the side of the road. Those are there to mark where the road is when all other identifying features are covered in snow.

Yellow stripes on the side of the road and white in the centre are usually found only in Africa and the Middle East, not Australia and New Zealand, that last round was either South Africa, eSwatini or Botswana

On the Thailand location there was a sign right next to the police station that said "Ubon Ratchathani", which was the big city that you were hovering around when trying to find the 24 and 2191 roads.
