Very nice video , i am trying to setup a cinepro I did everything even i could spin the motor through betaflight but when I arm it it do nothing any ideas ? On betaflight all the switches work I have the xm+ receiver and the taranis x9 lite s

If you're sure you're bound correctly, check the Channel map in the receiver tab it should be whatever your radio is using (might have to change to TAER from AETR). Check if your throttle value is not above the minimal arming value, and also check if there's not any arming angle shennanigans (less likely).

@@FPVtips thank you I had the input switched so the throttle was the pitch so it needed the throttle in minimum to arm problem solve and my quad is flying 👍 thank you for your answer

FPVtips I finally found out how to bind the SPEKTRUM RX it comes with. There is a very small circular bind button on the RX. It’s much easier to see it if you remove the top layer of the quad where the battery is mounted on to see it.

Great review. I am new to the hobby and looking for a 3" cinewhoop with HD camera and GoPro mount. I like the CinePro but can it take a GoPro hero 7? Is there any BNF you recommend or would it be better to build my own?

Thanks a lot and welcome to the hobby 😊. Those are all very good questions and now it's a great time for some cinewhoop action. I'd say consider how important is digital fpv to you first. DJI digital fpv is out, as well as the Caddx Vista, which you could find on some cinewhoops. I'm not sure if the CinePro could take a go pro, but even if it could the flight characteristics would be probably very suboptimal. If you don't care for on board HD recording from a Tarsier or Caddx Vista, and you must have a go pro, I'd say look into Squirt type of cinewhoops. Check out NurkFPV and Joshua Bardwell's channels too. Happy flying!

About that corrupt files, I read somewhere that is a bug in the caddx tarsier, try plugging the battery and stop the recording to see if it solves it. It was something like this they were talking about

Yep, so how I got it to work eventually (and reliably) is on the last unplug after I unplug it, I plug the quad back in for a few seconds and then finally unplug it again. I guess this gives it enough time to save the footage to the card. Still, such a poor user experience sadly :( but better than loosing footage!

Nice video! Have you set up the buzzer? Am struggling with that for some reason, I have the switch correct and the mode set in beta flight but I don't get any buzzer sound. Any help appreciated

Hmm I haven't bothered. I Don't even recall if the unit had a dedicated buzzer or is it using the motors in d-shot mode to produce the sounds. If so, double check it's running d-shot in Betaflight and your mixer settings in the radio. Hopefully you missed something small and it works :)

Hi, Hey I just brought this drone new. How do I get the CineQueen to bind to my Taranis X7? I found the tiny bind button on the receiver but I can't get the remote to bind. Is it possible Taranis X7 needs a update. I have it in D8 should it be D16? I fly all my other EXAM FPV drones with this remote so I know works. (UPDATE), It was a matter of moving the remote into D16, SHE'S ALIVE!!!!! LOL Thank you

hi great channel! I have just got this and I cant get it to recognise the sd card I have formatted the card on my laptop and in the app and it still says no sd card? I have tried sandisk extreme 64gb 3 a2 card and 64gb extreme pro 3 a2 any ideas?

The first thing I'd try is to format the card thru their Caddx Tarsier app. I think I had a similar issue and outlined it here - blog.georgi-yanev.com/fpv/geprc-cinepro-4k-cinewhoop-review/#setup . If that doesnt help (although it probably would) try using a 32GB card, in case the card size is a limitation.

@@FPVtips so it has to be a u3 card formatted in fat32 which windows 10 doesnt do for any card above 32gb so a separate formatting app needs to be installed on your computer to do this to a 64gb and then it formatted in the app. I did this but it still didnt work only if I pressed the card in slightly and hit record then it worked for a split second. Now it has stopped working completely so my caddx is faulty. Brand new didn't even get to use it. Bought from bangood 2 months ago never used currently sending constant emails and still not resolved. Regretting purchasing from bangood. Forced to buy a new camera myself. Poor service. Geprc were even less help. Be warned people! (Got sorted see lower comment)

@@Stevieboyfpv I'm sorry you had such a poor experience, and it's good to share so people are aware. My personal experience has always been good, I've bought more stuff from there than I dare admit, and have had perhaps 2-3 faulty products or some issues with, 100% of the times I've gotten refunds - did you try that thru their site in the orders page the refund link? I've found it myself that things are always more efficient when I have to write them an email to be very short and to the point, as explaining things in detail doesn't lead to anything because of the language barrier I feel. Anyway, I hope you solve your situation and if it makes sense to you, there are also other places you can purchase from if needs be.

Great video, however im sure im still missing some configuration setup , as im unable to stabilize my cinepro f7 in the air, i have configured things in betafligh and transmitter, but for some reason the quad when i try to put it in the air it goes crazy and suddenly without me doing it, it goes full power regardless of me giving gas or not. Im obviously new to fpv, so if anyone could have any idea of what im missing here, please help me out as im starting to be a bit frustrated with this drone. Thanks in advance....

Having props the wrong way, or even motors spinning the wrong direction is a common thing that can happen to you (and has happened to me many times). If that's fine, I'd check next if the Channel mapping matches your transmitter's channels. In my case I had to change the default to TAER, because that's what my radio uses. If they do match, and if deflecting a stick changes the correct channel values in the Betaflight receiver tab, all good. In general, the idea is if you can isolate a system and test it on its own, so you can verify if it is or is not the root cause. You are also talking about stabilization, so it could be just that the quad flies fine, but is in acro mode (where there is no auto stabilization and is full on manual flight). Check the modes tab and make sure that ANGLE mode is either enabled by default or you have it on a switch, if that's what you prefer. You can do that in the modes tab in Betaflight. fpvtips Thanks a lot for the tips, i think you were right about the Acro mode, i managed to do that and its a lot more controllable now, but still nothing like my mavic air, with this one even without any wind he still doesn’t stabilize in the air making it impossible to fly indoors (at least for me). @@3ls222 Sure, happy to help :) The main difference is that these racer / freestyle / cinewhoop drones usually don't have a GPS module (although you could add one with some effort) and as such the location hold stabilization is pretty much non existent. Here the focus is much more on manual flight, kind of like comparing driving a race car vs a train :) I too started from not having any clue how to fly them, but trust me, before you know it with some practice you'll see that it's actually not as impossible as you might have thought at first. You got this! And once you unlock those skills, you can do things with this guy that a Mavic can simply never do. And that's ok, they serve different purposes. Have fun :) P.S.: Definitely not bashing on DJI Mavic or anything, I have a lot of respect for those camera platforms and how they are helping make drones more main stream

Just got mines delivered but must admit that I'm a bit disappointed. Got the BNF from Bangood with r-xsr receiver. Can't get telemetry to my Taranis and I suspect it was not wired correctly. Also getting terrible noise/interference on goggles whenever the Taranis is turned on. I'm new to this so don't quite now how to solve these problems. Have been trawling the internet but so far no luck. Also got one of the prop guards broken after first crash in grass......not impressed.

I'm sorry you had a poor experience, but don't loose faith :) There might be a bunch of tinkering in FPV, but you will manage to configure things the way you want them. It always works out in the end. I would really not expect any noise in the goggle feed because of the Taranis per se. But double check all of your configuration. What antennas are you using? Are they LHCP or RHCP? Good quality, omni?

@@FPVtips Have Lumenier Stubby RHCP. I found that moving the receiver around stopped the noise. Not really sure what was causing it. I also cabletied the ht30 to the top plate away from the vtx antenna and that seemed to help as well. i've had nothing but problems with this quad and I have asked bangood for a refund. They have not got back to me, but will be taking it up with Paypal if I don't hear from them soon. Thanks for your reply.
