Platinum is the king of awesome games nobody buys and never get a sequel. *The Wonderful 101* is still their ultra masterpiece and nobody even knows what it is. This is completely on us. We were given multiple chances and we have squandered them. Only ourselves to blame. WE fucked up.

Unrelated question but do y’all think there used to be different clans before the Cybertronians decided to live together in a city? Like different factions based on what the Transfomer could shift into. Like the Car Faction, the Truck faction, the combiner faction, stuff like that

Sounds like Functionism, a class based caste system where your role in society was based on your alt mode

Not necessarily factions, but more like “genetic factors”. Combiners are born, made or converted to be able to combine, due to Nexus Prime. Technically there are sub factions such as the Insectocons, Dinobots, and the names of the combined teams. Also the Minicons and Beast transformers

I don't like that the size of the Combiners is much larger than they really should be (for example, in the case of Menasor, the arms - cars - are larger than Optimus Prime).

There should have been a sequel to this game where the autobots and the Decepticons had to team up against Nova Prime and a new batch of cybertronians. Characters you can play as should have been for the Autobots Optimus Prime Cliffjumper Jazz Ironhide For the Decepticons it should have been Megatron Soundwave Starscream Blitzwing And they're should be special levels where you can play as the combiners

Guys, am I the only one who thinks that they should make a similar game based on G.I. Joe? They should make a game based on "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" with the style of the cartoon like this one. Only the emphasis would be on firearms instead of melee combat. And of course, a rock soundtrack! It would be the best game in the franchise, as cool as "Transformers: Devastation". Who agrees?

Nobody bought it. Curse of Platinum Games. They made some of the best action games in the GENRE of character action games and nobody bought them enough to make the investors happy. *The Wonderful 101* alone is easily one of if not THE most important games ever conceived and despite all of its incredible qualities nobody bought it enough, even on the re-release. So there is nobody but us to blame for there being no continuations. We didn't make our friends, family, collegues buy them. And now this is what we get. Hideki Kamiya left the company.
