Our perspective in the games are on the injustice verse, while the arkham games lie on the Arkham-verse obviously. So using that information, possibly sometime before the start if the games they could have went to the injustice universe and came back.

Personally I always thought that the Arkham Origins design was Croc's best. He is still scary looking and big but not colossal like in the later Arkham games and he isnt too exaggerated like how in other forms of media where he's given a tail and a literally crocodile head on a human body 😅

@@fobo3361 well actually if they made him more animalistic but with better looks, like more fierce and efficient it wouldn’t make sense cause killer croc would love it, in the movie “son of Batman” you have a killer croc with a cool crocodile enhancement and he loves it, but here it would make any sense in this particular dlc of the game because Croc doesn’t like his transformation, the experiment failed, he looks like a still born chimera and that was the point, he was just used as a lab Ginny pig and the results were horrifying which explains his horrendous appearance, and the difficulty of Croc when it comes to speech or movements while fighting! So I think the design actually fits the plot and it’s cool to see for the first time a croc hating on his monster side, cause his condition was just a déformation at birth and the circus where he grew up treated him like an animal while he was just a basic human with difformité
