I never played Crash of the Titans, so when I first saw Tiny Tiger, I thought, “Why was he hated so much here? Sure he looks pretty different from the original games, but I like this design. It’s pretty badass. What could possibly be so bad about COT’s Tiny?” And then he started speaking. I physically cringed so hard, I thought that my body was going to twist inside-out. Like, I’m willing to bet that that COT Tiny wouldn’t get HALF of the hate he gets if it weren’t for his voice.

I played the heck out out of crash warped when it was released. Now as an adult I’ve come to appreciate (more) how much of a leap it was in the series and how it was the perfect swan song to go out on. Crash bash was great too- no other ps1 series put out as many winners as the crash series did so I understand perfectly why it ended. The creators were ambitious as heck and made an even better series. Uncharted is for the kids who loved crash but became adults. It has a kid at heart vibe running through it while appearing mature on the outside. The Naughty Dog team are among the most brilliant in the industry!

@@chsjx7222 O melhor Tiny Tiger é dos jogos clássicos , e na verdade fizeram ele zoadão desse jeito de propósito , foi uma maneira de tirar sarro com a empresa distribuidora que na época não queria o personagem envolvido por parecer com o tigre do Sucrilhos lá , "tanto é que no final na fala o Tiny até brinca dizendo " não me convidou pro último jogo " porque ele já vinha sendo escanteado , só que os produtores do crash não queria ele fora , então aproveitaram a mudança total no visual que já vinha acontecendo nos personagens pra criar esse Tiny Tiger totalmente diferente e aboiolado , dando indireta pra destribiidora por parecer fresca por não permitir o personagem no jogo .

It amazes me hw little game devs respect their own characters. I mean, Tiny is about as simple as a character as you can get. Big dumb strong man. Only cares about beating what's in front of him and being strong enough to beat whatever will be put in front of him. Yet they try over and over to change him into a joke, or someone with a vanity complex. It's ugly and uncanny. THEN they complain that it's the fan's fault for not liking it. As if they don't understand that if you take something the fans like, then change everything about it drasticly, it is no longer what the fans like! To quote one of my favorite critics, "It's like they're wearing the skin of your grandma and asking for a kiss."

PS1 Crash 3 looks almost as good as remakes despite to all of the limitations of PS1. The same amount of content and gameplay elements take less than 5% space of its remake. Same enriched gameplay able to run with 2MB RAM. Immensely far better optimised compared to what does it putting into table.
