Paul Buitink talks to Gerald Celente, an American trendwatcher for over 40 years and publisher of the Trends Journal.
Gerald is worried about the future of America and the West because "the maniacs are in charge" he says. The US he compares to a plantation ('Slavelandia') where the workers get abused and the Bigs are getting Bigger.
He provides us with the most important trends he sees and advocates for peace both in the Ukraine and Gaza conflicts. He fears nuclear annihilation if we can't come together. The US presidential elections are not going to change a thing.
For America he longs for a renaissance and the return of good values, production and decent culture.

Gerald Celente's heart is in the right place. My mother grew up in the Bronx, I was raised in NJ but would take trips to the Bronx-Highbridge to visit my grandmother in the early - mid 60's..I remember playing in the park across the street. America has changed so very much, I do not believe it will ever go back to the days when people took a bit more pride in themselves, family and friends.

Gerald seems to be the kind of person I would like to see have more power. You can feel he is genuinely upset about the way things are, and that is the kind of person that will bring change.
