These last 2 songs by Luke seem a bit like a repetition with the usual theme: the love for a woman whom he asks to swear her love for him, he who is alone... and a memory in him that recurs: the memory of her running and hiding... I can't find anything new that hasn't already been said. The loud and jarring music means in my opinion that Luke was not in a positive state of mind at that time. The music is too different from that played and sung with Toto. It was 1989, not 2025, that is, many years after the birth of the band. The music, the sounds, the arrangements, the topics covered are so different, like the verses of the songs... I much prefer Luke in the songs written and published in the last 2-3 years... definitely.👏🤕
