He really does have a lovely voice. It saddens me that he hasn’t tried doing more music related projects. I sometimes wonder if the negative feedback about the 2004 Phantom movie had anything to do with that. I’m a developing actor myself, and I just started by singing in school and church. But I honestly feel insecure about my voice - even though most of what I’ve done is musical theatre so far. So I can only imagine how he’d feel, with a project that has been seen all over the world, and gets constantly compared to the original stage show... I know. All of this is really opinion and not fact. But...I can’t help but wonder what his voice would be like if he’d continued getting coaching and training.
