That wasn't his point though. He means, the way they played then wouldn't work today. As the way they may have played in previous decades wouldn't have worked in the 90's. Also, the players are immensely dedicated today, very professional, fit and don't go as crazy on the partying as they did in the past. Pique also made the point that most players would have to start from a young age to develop the dominant style of today, it would be rare for a player to come in later in age and pick it up.

Huge respect as a coach to Pep, but you like him more and rate him over our manger? Sheesh you are a disgrace. And I'm not blind fan, I see and respect the greatness of both Pep and Sir Alex. One is the Greatest manager in Prem history and the other is just a Coach who will become one of the greats.

I'd like to see Pep take a poor side or average side to a trophy like Clough or Mourinho did before I consider him the best.

thanks to SAF he won multiple epl even with Glazers running our club, we could end up become midtable team earlier if not because of SAF.

The main reason Pep didn't manage United is because they weren't "Ready Made Enough" like his 2013 Champions League winners Bayern Munich were. Just for the record, Pep Failed at Bayern, most managers would have succeeded at that amazing Barcelona team he had. Fergie worked miracles at Aberdeen and what have United won since Sir Alex resigned despite over £1.5 Billion spent on players under 5 different managers within the past 10 years. It's not like many managers could have replicated Fergie's success at United over a 26 and a half year period.
