The small flat screwdriver is actually for Phillips-head screws.

Hi John, thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment, I'm sure you could use the smaller flat driver for Phillips heads , I was lucky enough to tour the Gerber facilities/factory in Portland ( great place) and that was the information they gave to me when reviewing the line, I was just so happy to find out that there is now a multi-tool that will not get confiscated at the airport!!

Weird. I always has assumed it was for small flathead screws, but I watched a ton of reviews before getting my latest multitool and they all said it was due Phillips screws. I guess it doesn't really matter what it's "for", just how it works.

Thanks John , you are right, as long as it works ! and I'm sure it would work for use in a Phillips screw or smaller flat ( will have to try it out)
