thank you for your service brother, I appreciate every American brothers and sisters who served this country for us. I still have my mp 600 my Marine friends still carry theirs as well. It great on construction sites and I don't care what people say about Gerber it's knocked a few out of the park just like the original Gerber suspension it was way ahead of its time with all the bit drivers and such.also this new tool looks amazing.

got mine for $46 about 2 weeks ago, excited to try it at work. I needed a large plyer for gardening hose type of fettings.

Best video out there, I was on the fence on this one,watched your video and put it on the top of my list, I found it today at Walmart for $50 on sale and I didn't think twice. Also I agree no need for a file, definitely scissors would be more useful

Been a daily Leatherman, Gerber or SOG guy for many years... love them all & use them often. I saw this for $109 at Bass Pro. Found at Walmart for $57 & bought 2. I find most multitools include too many tools that ore "survival" type tools. This seems much more "daily" use. Built more around the pliers... it looks huge at first, but when placed beside my Suoertool 300, it's the same. I'll know more in a month or so.

While my budget won't allow me to purchase a lot of the things you review, I do pay close attention to what you have to say about EDC equipment, Survival gear and even how you equip your "man cave." my first multi tool is an old Gerber mp600...picked it up at an army surplus...it was used over in Afghanistan by original owner...still use it from time to time...oh btw...Battallion!

Battalion! I work as a natural gas technician and I could see myself wearing this on my belt during work hours everyday. I have a tool bag with a ton of tools but when I'm in a crawl space or an attic I dont want to haul the bag around. This tool could be on my person and it has just enough stuff on it so that I could potentially fix something on the spot without having to grab my big bag.

The Crunch does have a 1/4” bit driver in end of the handle. It’s not convenient to use though. Battalion.

Have had my eye on this one for a while. I have the silver version of the same tool you showed here first. It sits in a toolkit I use when I am using my telescope observing. It has come in handy many times over the years. Battalion.

I love the pliers and the full size bit driver (zero interest in proprietary bits), scissors would be nice if they're good quality but I'd happily ditch the the file and the saw and have the Leatherman Surge jigsaw blade holder instead. Being in the UK a locking blade means I can't EDC it but that's not a show stopper as it'll either be used at home or buried in a tool box anyway...

I don't know why, but I rarely find myself in need of pliers. In fact, I use the cutters way more than I use the pliers. I couldn't tell if the cutters are replaceable on the Dual Force although I would hope so at its price point. These pliers are a great evolution on the multi-tool pliers especially if you are a plier user. I was excited to see the center-drive bit driver tho! Gerber slam dunked on Leatherman with that one. I'll probably pass on this one, altho I would not say no if someone gave it to me. ;) Battalion!

Thanks for the review. I’ve been looking for the Dual-Force. You confirm much of my thinking about this tool. It looks to me like a multi tool capable of actually replacing dedicated slip joint pliers and a dedicated screwdriver, with extras. I do like my Gerber tools, MP800, MP600, Prybrid, and both Dime and Travel Dime. I do have a Leatherman MUT and another Leatherman. Love the MUT as a dedicated tool to support my AR, but prefer the Gerber tools in general use around the house and in the field.

I curious about if this could replace my Leatherman Skeletool as my main go to. Looks really promising, though a bit pricey. Its good to see some innovation in the field, but I'm still on the fence about the stubbier plier shape. This is why I'm part of the battalion, you're always introducing me to new gear I wouldn't have found about otherwise! Keep up the great work!

As a nice edc multitool I think the skeletool is the winner especially for more pocketable. Otherwise this is a nice tool to keep around the car or drawer

American made Gerber tools are really solid, if not they’re pretty much junk. Going to stick with the LM Surge. Great review, saved me some money.

I’ve stayed away from Gerber Multi tools based on reviews, I do own the Gerber EAB & carry it everyday. As far as multi tools I own Leatherman Supertool 300, Wave +, & Leatherman Curl. Curl is hands down my favorite & the only one I carry.

Personally the fact that it doesn't have scissors is a plus for me I say this to everyone I have friends that use a lot of different multi-tools I myself carry a Leatherman super tool 300 but I have a couple of gerbers as well I don't have dual Force I like the dual Force and the main selling point for me is the fact that it doesn't have scissors I think the scissors on a multi-tool is one of the most useless pointless tools in a multitool again I have friends that have them I have multi tools I've never needed scissors and usually the reason I don't buy a certain tools is because of the stupid scissors anyways great video

Battalion Up! I'm a subscriber, and follow you on Instagram. This does look like a decent multi-tool. What may tilt the scales for me is the real bits, and the bit holders. You say this one is made in China? Getting one could be difficult due to supply chain issues; container ships still aren't moving (check out Milspec Ops Monkey / Monkeywerx; his sitreps include maritime conditions). I have a Leatherman Signal, but it's massive in a pocket so I rarely carry it. OTOH, the Leatherman Squirt on my keychain gets frequent use; it's the one with a wire stripper rather than pliers; it also has scissors, which are small, but work. Anyway, nice review; thanks.

As far as multitools go, you cant beat a Swisstool imho. First made in 98 or so and unmatched in fit and finish, build like a tank, but feels like jewelry.

The laminated jaws fail to impress. The whole package is potentially viable, but those jaws are dubious both in terms of strength and locations for hidden rust. That you had to make a warrantee claim on a tool that hasn't been on the market 100 days also is not a vote of confidence.
