Brought to market by none other than Pete Gerber himself, this little knife has a big history. With a handle completely constructed of all synthetic materials, it set a new standard in craftsmanship. Also featuring a 420HC blade and built in America, this classic can't be missed.

Thanks for the review. This is the knife I'm looking to replace. But I can't find the Gerber Ultralight LST 200 anywhere online. My knife simply had Gerber 200 written on the blade. Do you know if it's been discontinued?

I used to have a similar version of that knife, but it was much smaller, and made by a relatively okay brand, frost cutlery.

That is awesome! Gerber really isn't my favorite brand of knife, i've never tried frost cutlery yet, maybe i'll have to get one some time

UtahMountainMan You should also try elk ridge knives, they may look cheap, but for the price, they last a while even under tough use, best part is they hold an edge, don't let them get dull though, because, they are stainless steel and hard to resharpen, I know from personal experience with a pocket folder, that lasted 5 yrs in hardcore construction work, like cutting off old roofing and such.

Awesome! I'll have to try elk ridge out as well. So far the knives i've had are buck, cold steel, kershaw, gerber, swis army knives and spyderco. From working construction over the years what would you say would be your go to knive to carry everday on the job?

UtahMountainMan Swiss victorinox, or various other multi tools, like leather man, possibly some traditional knives, it really depends on the task, for ex, for cutting sheetrock and such, it would be a hunting knife, or tactical knife, as much as I like buck and other knives like them, I don't want to beat them up in construction, I would also recommend Winchester, because, they are cheap, traditional, tough knives that get the job done.
