It seems to me that the interviewer and Gerhard never actually got into a groove communicating. No problem with that, just an observation. Richter seems like a very agreeable guy.

How do you know they are finished? 15:59 The stupidest silliest question i ever heard. From director of Tate.

A comic book version of an artist. I've never seen one painting by Richter that displays a single shred of talent or ability.
@TheGiantAnteater1 Жыл бұрын
😄 thats totally crazy and nearly unbeliveabal for me. What artist has the talent and ability, that you are missing here in your opinion?
@KpxUrz5745 Жыл бұрын
@@TheGiantAnteater1 No serious response is required. If there was ever a case of "The Emperor's Clothes" in modern art, the so-called paintings of Richter is it. Just take one look. It does not require over half a century of serious study of Art and Art History like I have invested, to know this.
@TheGiantAnteater1 Жыл бұрын
@@KpxUrz5745 allright! I thought you could explain your way of seeing the paintings and i could learn about your perpectiv. But this is so unbelieveabel arrogant and snoby, that im totally unimpressed and i feel way better now, knowing that your opinion is nothing relevant i have to care or think about.
@KpxUrz5745 Жыл бұрын
@@TheGiantAnteater1 Arrogant? If you want arrogant, just observe Richter "at work" on one of his talentless smear paintings, or hear him speak about it. How he made a career out of this says more about the gullibility of the ignorant public. But you are welcomed to like anything you want. It's not my burden to educate you.
