Oh no it broke my heart when you made the so called „Matschbrötchen“ (literal meaning is mudd roll) with a floppy sandwich 😭 I often heard that outside of Germany, actual bread rolls the way we know it don’t exist. I don’t know if that’s true but if it is, let me explain what an actual bread roll should be. The classic ones are oval shaped, crusty outside and fluffy, soft inside with a cutting on top from one end to the other. A Matschbrötchen with that is just so insanely good but I couldn’t even imagine eating it the way you guys did 😅

The Dickmanns in the Breadroll arent a troll. Usually you get a Breadroll (hearty german Brötchen), butter it good and take a Super Dickmann, remove the wafer, squash. They usually are sold in school cafeterias ^^

just a quick tip on pronounciation of german words: when you say "a" try saying it like "r" but don't roll it as much. an english "e" is like "i" in german. and an english "a" is like a german "e". when you try to say the letters "ü, ö and ä" just take the letter it looks like (for example with ä it would be a) and hang a german e at the end. in the middle of saying that there is a tone that is the correct pronounciation. if you see ß somewhere: that isn't some special B or f, it is called "scharfes s" (translates to: sharp s) it is basically just double s (ss) used to make german grammar confusing. "sch" is "sh". i hope this helped :)

Love the video. Have noticed in many vids you use the phrase "more-ish." I've never heard this said in the US. Is it common UK colloquialism? Inquiring minds. 🥰

Thank you 😀 it’s funny. I never even thought it was a word that some people wouldn’t know. It is pretty well known here. Just a way of saying you enjoyed the item and want more of it 🥰 wonder if it will catch on in the US 😆

Raffaello and Kinderschokolade are actually made by the italian Ferrero - Company, so they are not german. But nowadays they are also produced in Germany.
