Such strong makeup etc is quite typical for Visual Kei (Visual Kei is japanese movement, as music movement and subculture and have many varieties, but in some of them strong makeup is not using) and gender is not that important, so, there are even male musicuans who really looks exactly like girls. ;) Pronunciation of word "kei" is like... for example name of english letter "k". And as music Visual Kei don't have one specific genre or something like that, you can find there almost everything, also one band can play so many genres, but there are some specific elements, for example theatrical in vocals (not all singers using it, but most of them). If you see description "Visual Kei metal band" it can mean many genres, haha. :D Madmans Esprit aren't similar to Dexcore, right? Amother great Visual Kei metal band, Matenrou Opera, they play power metal, symphonic metal, speed metal, epic metal, alternative metal, so also completely different, right? :D But if you like metal genres like these, it would be great if you react to Matenrou Opera. :) I can't send here link to song, so I just will write band's name and song's title in japanese.
