I truly enjoy watching your videos. Your detailing and weathering are fabulous looking. You don’t go over the top by using store bought Photo Etch parts. Instead you make them from sheets of aluminum and copper and wires. I also love that you use the rubber band tracks and give them the natural sag by using rods. Perfect look. Thank you for sharing your tips and techniques with us. I look forward to the next video.

I’ve built this kit about 3-4 times, but I’ve never been able to create the back engine mesh covers that come with the kit. Is there a special type of glue you used for them, because yours look great! Also, love the extra details you’ve added to this old kit and thanks for showing how to create those tow cables, I will be sure to add them to my Tigers.

The tamiya zimmerit dose it have a zimmerit texture feel or is it just smooth
@smc-24 ай бұрын
This is a very difficult question. Nowadays, various manufacturers have started releasing kits with ZIMMERIT coating. I can't help but say that the details are very unsatisfactory compared to those. Although I don't recommend it, it's not a very expensive part, so it might be a good idea to actually purchase it and check it out.🍑🍑🍑

Very nice job, BRAVO. A single question, why just not glue the track on the wheels ?

This is because it is easier for me to work on painting and weathering if the tracks are removed. Therefore, it is made removable. Thanks for your comment.😄

Sorry to ask, I’m just starting out with model making. I’ve noticed in quite a few videos of great models, it almost appears a technique is to apply a light coat of epoxy onto certain areas to provide texture? Is that what I’m seeing here for example around the stepped mantlet of the gun and on the turret hatches? It’s where the grey is basically 😂
@smc-2 Жыл бұрын
The gray part is not epoxy resin, but a thin layer of lacquer putty.😄
@colbyboggs5365 Жыл бұрын

I like your work very much. But you use a lot of Tamiya products. I also want to challenge various products such as dragon, italy, and habbyboss. It's very cool. あなたの作品が大好きです。 でもタミヤ製品をたくさん使います。 dragonやイタリアン、habbybossなどいろんな製品にも挑戦したいです。 とても素敵です. :)
Tamiya's models are cheap and very helpful for me who have to make ends meet on a small pocket money. Because you can get it for half the price compared to dragon, Italian, hubbyboss, etc. However, I think the time will come when we will have to deal with products from manufacturers other than Tamiya. I can't promise when. Thank you for your comments. 😄
