Of course, I am referring to standard artillery rounds here, it was obvious that the guided/smart rounds could do that, but those are expensive and not very numerous.

That isn´t true.... let me say it like this... some people ASK if some weapon systems are game changers. I have seen Ruschists claim that the west claims they are game changers... but I can´t find the claims in western media. For example Kiev Independent ASKS: Could F-16 be a game changer... that is a question, not a claim. The second thing, if we want to discuss reality, is what game changer MEANS. For some (usually those who want to belittle Ukraine) try to explain it as ONE system that decides the outcome or even end of the war. Well let me tell you, there is ONE weapon system that is a game changer - the nuclear bomb. But that could change a war in an unpredictable way. In common discussing a "game changer" is a weapon that allows a certain advance or move (and without it, the move was not possible). So in this definition, the anti-tank weapons were game- changers. Russia came to take Kiev, and COULD have done it, if Ukraine did not have anti-tank weapons. (but again, it didn´t end the war). Western artillery and Himars were a game changer as it allowed Ukrainians to push Russia out of Izum and Kherson. So all of the above systems were able to change a PART of the outcome of the war. The Russian mobilization of 300.000 more people were a game changer, because without it, Russia would have lost more of occupied land in Ukraine.

But if Putin is taken out of power, then there will be full numbers as the angry people will demand to get numbers on what really happened. * Russia has used different tactics to keep the numbers a secret. - You can´t release numbers in Russia, others than heavily reduced numbers given by the Military. You may not question the war, the numbers in any magazine or tv. - Russian soldiers on the front (don´t give full numbers of all deaths, as they don´t have access to them) but they report of how many are left of certain units after attacks. Some explain in captured calls that they had like 600 people in a battalion that attacked, and the caller estimates that 200 are left. This means around 400 people are dead or wounded - brought to hospitals. This is of course one battalion, and one can´t compare another battalion that didn´t attack. But if we then know that 6 similar sized battalion attacked during a weak, and another soldier reports that they have lost half the members... then we start to get some picture. Adding to that, Ukrainians have a lot of pictures of destroyed tanks and military vehicles... their number can be VERIFIED. What is harder is to estimate... were the tanks and vehicles empty, half full or full? Russian reports of full hospitals and hundreds of Russian soldiers that don´t get treatment, also tell about huge losses. Beside Ukrainians sharing their videos which help to estimate, some countries military service have analysed events and satellite images... and made own calculations... those are often below Ukrainian estimates, but not far from them. Independet research teams have tried to fins data on social media about funerals. Note, all funerals are not published, so there are more. they came up to a number of 50.000 dead in july 2023. A common calculation is that there are over 1,5 times of wounded per dead. With this calculation there would be over 125.000 dead and wounded, and those based upon mainly VERIFIED deaths, while there are likely more. Why don´t Russians scream? The majority of the people taken into the military are not from Moscow or St. Petersburg, but from far away regions and villages... their cries are not heard in Moscow. Some governors have dared to question why their region is over represented in the war.
