ERROR: There is an error in the slide at 4:10 mins...if it is "little boy"(singular), then, it should be "des Junges". If it is "little boys" (plural), then, it should be "der Jungen". Please rectify the error, or, explain, if I am wrong.

Junge is a weak noun that takes a extra 'n' at the end in all the cases except nominative. For e.g. Dem Jungen, den Jungen, and *des Jungen*.

Bcoz. Junge is a weak noun. For all weak nouns we add extra 'n ' in Akkusativ , Dativ und Genitiv. "Die Mutter des Jungen " ist richtig. U can search for the weak noun videos. Jenny did the Video. Have a look at that . Viel Spaß beim Lernen
