самая сильная, мотивированная и профессионально-подготовленная армия в Западной Европе периода 47 - 90 годов, тот плаксивый и изнеженный Бундесвер ННА и в подмётки НЕ годился.....очень жаль, что всё именно так закончилось, бесславно....горбатому и его подельнице раиске - вечное презрение и "прожарка" на сковородках без масла

German people as a whole detest communism. The people inside the DDR had to go with the system they were living under. Not for one minute do I believe that East German people, had any love for Russians or the USSR. Too many Germans were still alive that remember the horrors the Russians brought to all of Eastern Europe in the post war years. The East German army was the most professional looking army of modern times, and when reunited, Germany disbanded the wrong army.
