Hey guys!, I got this Tank few moths ago, having a lot of fun with it (btw I have some vid of the tank), and many people say that is a TIGER chassis, but in fact isnt not. The chassis in the front has different angle from the Tiger. Doing some research on internet, I found this model looks more like an early Panther version, the VK serie of tanks, which were developing to conclude in what we know as the Panther tank. Im planing to do some modifications to the chassis front part to match the model of the VK30.02, which it suits better to this model, rather then "Panther". Cheers to all!

beautiful tank even though it's just a Pan-Tiger I luv the 'styling' of it the front end and especially the exhaust pipe system in the rear. With its sleak lines, it comes close to being a tank/sportscar. Will be purchasing my own PanTiger in the very near future. In my opion fwiw, it rivals the Panther G as the most beautiful tank on the battlefied. A work of art!

Hey can you show the wiring on that heng long panther, the gun quit elevating on mine got that to work but the gun has now quit firing the airport pellets. . Thought I had pictures but some of them have disappeared. Never even saw a picture of a panther with spare tracks mounted like that

I bought this one, should be here in a few weeks, Edit: It has arrived, it is a very cool tank, I am hoping that poring the smoke oil down the barrel is the right way to do it.
@denvandenende65624 жыл бұрын
According to the user manual it is... keep the tank at a 45 degrees angle and pore it down the tailpipe... what can go wrong ? ;-)
@darkstardavros2 жыл бұрын
Erm no. You're supposed to pour it down the open tail pipes at the back. Either one of them. It doesn't actually matter which as both are connected to each other. The barrel on the other hand shouldn't be having anything poured down in it. As this will cause it to block up. The only thing that should be coming out of the barrel is the BB pellets from the BB gun inside the tank. Which are loaded via the tank Commander's hatch. Hopefully you've discovered all this before any real damage was done. Otherwise it'll be a case of trying to clean out the barrel and hope for the best.

Hi there. I've just basically got an enquiry here. I want to upgrade the plastic sleeves that I'm currently using in my pantiger , which I've converted to a Panther A tank, to actual bearings. So yea I'm asking you what size bearings I will need to do that. Thanks.

Did you do a video on the German maus or if you did not pls do it
@darkstardavros2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for putting up the video. As tank's go this one isn't very accurate as it's got the bottom of a tiger 1 chassis, wheels arrangement and panther A upper hull. Which you've mentioned here. If you want something a bit more historically accurate then I'd suggest getting either the Tiger 1 or the Panther G. Unless of course you want to have a go at converting the Pantiger into a panther A tank. It is possible but it does take some doing. You can do some reconstructive surgery on the front of the tanks hull, upper and lower parts to make it look more like the frontal armour of a panther but it's the wheels and drive where you'll be having the most fun/issues. If you're fitting panther G drive wheels then you'll have to fit a longer drive shaft from the motor's as the one's that fit the tiger tracks are way too short. Once that's done you will still have the problem of the wheels. As the panther G, Jagdpanther Heng Long or Torro wheels won't fit properly. And they won't. I know cos I've tried. You'll have to use the tiger wheels you already have. To get the right wheel arrangements and have them fit the panther tracks. You'll have to cut part of the extra width of the wheels off so as to make them narrow enough to fit the tracks. You will also have to fit in spacers here and there to make sure that they all stay in line. After a bit of work they should all work fine. Well mine did once I'd got all kink's out of it. Like I said earlier. You will need to use spacers to keep them in line. Of course if you do find a set of the correct wheels that won't jame up with the suspension like the Heng Long or Torro wheels will then use those. Could you also be kind enough to let everyone else know where you got them from. Cos it would save anybody else who's also doing this a lot of work. Anyway once this is all done and you've finished painting, weathering the tank. You'll hopefully have something a bit more like the tank it proposes to be. Good luck.

appreciate the comment, but you can just have fun with the tank as is and not go that crazy.
@boogaloofever4 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing the wheels are the same size on both Panther and Tiger?
@darkstardavros2 жыл бұрын
No. Unfortunately they're not. I'm currently in the process of converting my Pantiger into a proper panther. Or as near close to it as I can get it anyway. The wheels from the panthers of either Torro or Heng Long will not fit the Pantigers shorter chassis wheel gap's. I've tried to look for an alternative but to no avail so far. The nearest I've got is to cut off the extra width of the wheels at the back and move them around so that they look more like a Panthers wheels arrangement. Other than that. It's a case of major reconstruction surgery on the front of the tank. Anyway if you are converting it then I wish good luck. It's not an easy job to take on.

@darkstardavros2 жыл бұрын
You can get Panther FS anyway. Putting a Panther F turret on this would make it even more inaccurate than it already is. The actual Panther F itself is a pretty good model and would probably be on my list of to gets if I had the space for it.

The term pantiger is wrong. The hull isnt from a Tiger, it is from a JPanther. The Tiger doesn't have that much exhausts
@thacooltiger3734 жыл бұрын
Listen: The lower hull is most certainly a Tiger’s Drivewheels and suspension. The Jagdpanther’s wheels are 1-2mm smaller. The Tiger and Certain models of the Panther have the same amount of exhausts. But the upper hull of the Pantiger is based on a Panther A, Which has 4.
@StokBrod4 жыл бұрын
@@thacooltiger373 okay, but that still means that the hull is not completely Tiger. If most parts of the tank belong to a panther, then I think that the term pantiger is wrong, maybe not fully, but at least partially. Heng long just threw some tanks together i guess
@darkstardavros2 жыл бұрын
@@StokBrod the bottom lower part of the hull is basically tiger. The upper body and rear is more like a Panthers. The rear exhaust arrangement is basically the same as a panther A tank. It is a bit of a mix up and as accuracy goes. It left home when this thing was made. But then if you're prepared to put some time and effort into it. You can sorta make it look more like a Panther A than a panther stuck on top of a tiger. Which is what I'm currently doing.

@fpstanker194 жыл бұрын
why??
@darkstardavros2 жыл бұрын
@@fpstanker19 yea. I can understand the comment as I bought one a while ago and it's currently undergoing a bit of reconstruction so that it actually looks like a panther A tank. If you want to get a panther then go for the slightly more accurate Torro or Heng Long Panther G tank. Which is kinda what I wished that I'd done but nevermind. It's proving fun to mess around with. If you get the one's with metal gearing, tracks and suspension then you're on to a winner. Anything plastic dies pretty quickly on these things if you use them a lot. And the metal replacement's aren't that cheap either. Unfortunately. But yea. Once you get the hang of it they're pretty much good fun. Hope that information was helpful to you.
