It’s « NCT one two seven » ^^ NCT means Neo Culture Technology and there are 21 members : • 9 in *NCT 127* (actually 10 but Winwin is inactive for more than one year because he’s busy with WayV in China) • 6 in *NCT Dream* (youngest ones) but Mark’s gonna join the group so they’ll be 7 in the next comeback • 7 in *WayV* (chinese sub-unit) • *NCT U* is the last sub-unit, there are not fixed members, it change based on the concept of the comeback, sometimes it’s a song with just 2 members (Baby Don’t Stop) or with 7 members (Boss). They are known for their amazing choreographies, their vocal line (like each group from SM Ent.) and they have a lot of *foreign members* (USA, Canada, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, one member used to live in Germany). Edit : There's also NCT 2018 but it's not a sub-unit, they just made one song called Black on Black in 2018 with 18 members.

Thank you for giving NCT a chance and for this great reaction! I believe that in Simon Says they were being confident about being labeled as noise music. There are lots of haters, negative critics saying that NCT's music is weird and odd, bunch of sounds thrown together, therefore it was not really accepted by general public, but they stayed true to themselves and continued doing what they like and with that create the new trends and not doing the trendy music just to be popular but creating their own color. Or in other words how someone else wrote it: On the surface...the message of “Simon Says” is to ignore the rules set by society and to be true to yourself. We wear masks to “fit in” or disguise our true nature. NCT 127 talks about being “vibe killers” as a way of rejecting these standards and having faith in what they do despite unpopular opinions. Through the jammed cars I’m the siren that opens up the roads Piercing through the traffic in your heart All night Faster than anyone else They’re all behind me I won’t hold back, everything’s up to me Especially by this verse I undertand it as NCT are like a fresh breath, something unique, that stands out among other groups who always go for the same kind of music/concept. Creating a trend that's why they are ahead of others and everything's up to them. It could also mean that because they are being different they will get success one day, but others won't because they are just copying stuff. Sorry for a long reply, lyrics could be interpreted in lots of ways, but they are definitely worth looking deeply into them. NCT almost always have the lyrics written with a hidden message so when you get to know it you're in awe and that's when you appreciate their music even more!

Nct has 23 members and is split into 4 sub-units Nct 127 is basically just the main kpop group currently with 10 members Nct dream is the youngest members and once they turn into an adult they graduate and join 127 I believe? So actually it's 10 members in this song, only the dance scene in the white room is without Winwin (probably because he was preparing for his debut with wayv back then.) In the scene where they are standing on the table it's all ten of them. But this is actually the first time noticing this XD. Without you I wouldn't have noticed that it's only 9 members in some of the scenes. But I am a "newbie" (2 months max) too.
