It takes an American child about 5 years to learn the rules of football.

Very true. A 5 year old can understand the basics but you will be near a teen by the time you understand most rules. And if you do not play or study the game you will never understand anything completely. If I walked into a sports bar and told someone yada yada player is a great 5tech there is a good chance they would not no wtf I was talking about.

Im not sure there is a single person on earth that knows all the rules to american football. It is the most complicated game in the world. There are rules like that one that almost never come up and then teams find loopholes for others and then they make more rules and it is just insane. If I wanted to teach you most of what you need to know to fully get the sport as a whole, not just on the field but the offseason stuff as well it would take like 2hours a day for a month with video to help. We would need 2 days just to explain the stupid rule on catches lol.

#suggestion could you react to NASCAR Funny Moments?

If you want to see how ridiculous the rules of football are, I have the #suggestion for you: the one point safety. It's literally happened twice, and the same TV announcer was calling both games. Hilarious. The first time it happened, I believe the people running the TV score viewer gave the point to the wrong team because they were so confused. I can't tell because I still can't figure out what happened. People say Americans are fat and stupid but we rabidly follow, play, and intricately understand the most complicated and physically demanding game in the world. Your game is simple: you kick the ball into the net, you get a point. kzbin.info/www/bejne/raWmlqyJoK96m9E

On the second play it wasn’t the guy who caught the ball it was his teammate who wasn’t set.

People call baseball boring. But, at least what happens matters. Over 1/2 of great NFL plays don’t matter due to flags

He's right about the rules. I've played all my life, coached high school and college, and had a father who scouted for the NFL...so football is in my blood. That being said, the rules still get me sometimes. Sure, the basics can be learned in no time, but for every one you understand there are two that change depending on the situation.

This is a terrible compilation. This video only shows 2 plays, there are way more trick plays than what is shown here lol
