This looked so delicious and healthy. We could really taste the apple too as the added sugar was left out. Yummm!

My Nana, my Mom, and I all made Savory Red Cabbage for Thanksgiving and Christmas over the years. But, for ours the onions were fried in bacon grease and we used red onion and red wine vinegar. There were no apples. Yours sounds interesting to try.

Nice video, thanks for cooking German red cabbage, but I as a German add no sugar - the sweetness of the apple and the onion is alreday enough sugar.
