great buckles, and yes, im one of those people that would like to have them in my collection lol. and your steel buckle is shutzstaffle (ie ss)its rarer than luftwaffe. luftwaffe was the airforce. those buckles have a sideview of an eagle in flight.

Wow that is getting even more interesting, and the weird part is that I found it near my home where was no battle, I think they camped here a few days and not so many troops.
