Amen. I just lost this year, my two 12 yr old female GSDs, who were 80 lbs when they passed, but yet in their young adult life (4-8 yrs) weighed in at 95 lbs each. I also had a Doberman that was a major battle with during bath time.

We put ours in a baby pool with Johnson's baby shampoo: he played and had a great time: then we turned on the Whirly Bird sprinkles and let him rinse. Then out came the leaf blower and he "fought the dragon: until he was dry. Beautiful puppy and daddy is so gentle with him.

I'd take mine into the shower tie him to the tap from puppy days So he knew he cdnt escape n conditioned his mind. Then I'd sit give him a good shampoo n massage.. talking to him. So as he grew he knew bathing was a part of the weekly routine n a good massage followed by being dried by a to well then the hair dryer.. Fortunately he was fine with a bath n never whined or cried. I made it fun with the massage n happy cheerful chatter😊

If you are going to shampoo the dog yourself, then you are certain not to get regular dog shampoo in the eyes.

My shepherd loved water and he was smart enough to know that every time you bath him you taking a bath right with him because he's going to sprinkle water everywhere on you one time I went swimming and he snuck up behind me and knocked me into the pool. But the day before that I gave him a bath I think now I see why he did that.

Rocky only wants to play with water, but doesn't want to take a bath. I love his cry very much. It's like an innocent child. He not only cries but also talks back so and so. I miss my dog. She doesn't like to have a bath, but likes to be kept warmly under the blanket in her bed and has a sound sleep.

If you're one beautiful kind soul who cares and understand animals they're lovely beings I'd adopted strays they're so beautiful to me. Some passed on and I adopted again I've one like this but not German S, and turns so smart and loving what can I asked for?
