Correction, I have a German spitz and she does nothing else but hunt, her nose is always along the floor, she chases squirrels, pounces on unsuspecting pheasants, and cocks her head sideways both ways listening then pounces into the undergrowth, just like the Artic fox

Pomeranian, if original, is not so different than a Spitz. Have you a dogs rescue center on line? I housed a Pomeranian from a dog's rescue, only to find out, some months later it was a German Sptiz.
