German Spitz: The First 40 Days In His Life......

These are the first puppies of my Sani. And the first puppies in my life, too. So I was so excited about them and their transformation every day...

My little lady, also a spitz, is currently taking care of her own pups. She had 6 of them. I was so surprised by the litter size. They are now almost a week and a half. I’ve been sleeping with her and the pups on a mattress that I put on the floor. She’s a demanding thing, but she’s so loyal and sweet that I don’t mind much. Especially, when she looks at me with those sweet doll eyes of hers’. My heart will be so broken when she’s gone, but I can enjoy the time I have with her.

They're adorable, you're so lucky to have them. They'll be your best friends for life, I'm sure. My grandma had 1 mommy spitz and 4 little ones. She gave away 3 of them to her relatives and kept the black puppy along with the mother with her. The two puppies were two sides of her heart as she said. They passed away a few years ago and were buried in our own little garden under a flower tree. Your puppies reminded her of them, thank you. God Bless Them All 💝 Lots of virtual hugs and kisses 💝

I too have a german spitz. They are the best kind of dogs if u want to have a small breed. Mine is sweet, gentle, super cuddly and cute. Though sometimes he is naughty, he is my best friend. Without him life couldn't have been same.

My family has bred German spitze as far as I can think back. I have shown these guys at dog shows as well. They are the best breed of dog to me personally. super smart and extremely loyal.

Puppies' baby teeth (also called primary or deciduous), grow around 6-th week and they are sharp as needles. So their mother stopped breastfeeding them and you have to start feeding the puppies. At around 12 weeks, the deciduous teeth begin to fall out, and the permanent teeth begin to erupt. Normally by 6 months of age, all permanent teeth have erupted, and all deciduous teeth have fallen out.

Do not worry, the mother instinctively knows how to take care of the babies. All you have to do is provide them with an enclosed space (to be protected from other pets) and ask your veterinarian about the schedule of mandatory vaccinations.

such a beautiful viedo❤️ i recently got a german spitz, she's about 2-3 months now. she is such a playful, friendly and intelligent one. but she really LOVES to bite, sometimes its bearable most of the times it really hurts. i've tried ignoring her/shouting at her(which i find really horrible but sometimes its like she bites ur skin off) so that she learns not to do that but she only stops biting for 15 mins and goes back like nothing happened. i cant even cuddle her without her biting me. she does have so many toys whenever she bites me i try to make her play with them but she only plays with the toy 2 secs and goes back to biting. SO, i really hope u help me with this, i would appreciate if u answer 😊

Don't worry about biting. It is normal on that age. She is baby and now she is changing her baby teeth with permanent teeth. It will happened until she change all teeth. My babies on that age where biting cables, furniture, etc. I was told to give them branch of tree (part of about 20 cm) to play with it and to bite it instead. On the stuffs they were biting I put chili pepper and they learned to avoid them. :) I hope it will help you too....

No, those are German Spitz. Japanese Spitz is ever so slightly longer in body than height but not much at all so one has to keep a fairly compact shape with this one too - evidently slightly longer but not long as a train. His tail is set on high and curled over the back and ribs powerfully sprung with a good tuckup. I've read a lot about those breeds on the internet. I have established they both have great coats, they both have great temprements and are great with kids, they are both indoors and outdoors dogs, very hardy but love a cuddle, the japanese are only white and the german are lots of different colours. And that the Japanese come in one size and the German in (relatively) many. Every dog is different person. One of my dogs (older one, mother) always sleeps on my bed. But, her daughter, likes sleeping on the floor, under the bed..... Bought of them have their own beds, but....prefer mine :) Or, maybe, it is colder on the floor and puppy likes it....

Mine are friendly with everyone. They are cuddling all the time, just like cats! Generally speaking, small breeds, are not for small kids. Kids are not very gentle and treats the dogs like toys..... This breed, small german spitz, in mine experience, is very intelligent, obedient, easy learning, loyal, clean, cuddling..... Very good choise for home pet!

Yes, Pomeranians are German Spitz, too. The SMALLEST German Spitz. Mine dogs (on the videos) are the SMALL (Klein) German Spitz.(or foxy nose), There are MEDIUM (or wolf spitz) and BIG German Spitz....
