The taste of kottu tastes different from place to place. Different shops put different amount of veggies and spices. Some cut the rotti super small, some cut it pretty big.

Hi Domi , If you still in kandy, Please visit Devon restaurant. its near the Kandy City center entrance. go there around 12 PM lunch time and try Lamprais. Its a banna leaf warped rice flavor full rice meal with chicken, egg, sweet eggplant curry, cutney, fish cutlet etc) try it you will love it. ;) it cost 520 LKR

i went to the devon restaurant actually. and it was the worst experience i ever had in any restaurant in my life :/ ... i ordered fried noodles there. 3 portions. i had to wait 1 1/2 hours. and all they gave me was plain boiled noodles. so i had to eat plain boiled noodles for 2 days.... but yeah thanks for the suggestion! but i swore to myself to never ever go there again :)! hope you still enjoyed the video ! 🧡

@@BINUKA I regularly eat from Devon nugegoda and has eaten multiple times in Devon Kandy. I would say in terms of service it's 50/50. The main good products there are nasi goreng, lamprais and their cakes. Short eats are either trash or moderately good depending on the chef.

Most of the time it is chicken curry gravy but bit of spicy and oily. Also there is cheese version of every kottu. And there is a string hopper kottu also. Thanks for being in Sri Lanka. Have fun in Nepal.
