@rein1705 U-352 was sunk by a US Coast Guard Cutter. The cutter eventually rescued a lot of the crew- only 13 went down with the sub.

It is eery just seeing that boat laying there broken on the bottom where she fell. How many men perished inside that hull while gallantly preforming there duty's? Honor to them...

Just read about this u boat, seems it was depth changed by a US coast cutter the Icarus, all the German crew made it off the u boat but some where machine gunned in the water by the US crew and some where rescued later.

Not quite the official story. The Coast Guard cutter did open fire on the boat to prevent the crew from manning the deck gun and bridge machine guns - keeping their heads down, as the saying went. According to the Wikipedia article, there's an eyewitness's testimony to that. So, no atrocities.
