German Windsurf magazine SURF & JP Foil Special

The German SURF magazine features a comprehensive article about HydroFoil-Windsurfing in their August issue: “READY FOR TAKE OFF”
JP team rider Sebastian Kornum DEN-24 shows the basics of foiling combined with useful tips. SURF journalist Stefan Goelnitz was really impressed by Sebastian’s abilities because after 2 hours of sailing and 50 jibes, Sebastian returned to the beach with a dry shirt.

It's common to see driftwood floating around our lakes; they're barley visible at the surface. I wonder what it'd look like if one of these fast moving boards hit a piece of floating debris as it was foiling along? Buyer beware !

If a slalom board with a 8.5M gets on the plane about the same time as a foil board and goes much faster I cant see the point of foiling I do not consider a 8.5M sail to be big.

I have the Starboard ultrasonic and 9.6 m sail that plane in 8 knots ,I can even put a 11 m sail on it and plane in 6 knots . I don't need to foil !
