They must have pre-recorded Carlos voice in, because after he took the microphone away from his mouth, his voice was still singing....I do know that happened one time with David when he was unable to sing during a Christmas special. I can certainly understand their voices get strained, singing most every night.

What happened with Carlos could be because he's an opera singer who used to sing to an audience without using a microphone so even thought his mic is away his voice is still projected fine. In an interview the other members said that Carlos is the one with the big voice. It'd also make total sense that their voices are stained with all those tours they do!!

Carlos is not the only operatic singer in the group. David is a tenor who has acted in several operas pre Il Divo. Urs also a lyrical singer. Carlos is a baritone and the only tenor in the group is David
